But I must have A New Day Has Come, One Heart and Taking Chances! What is the hold up with these albums? They are classics that we need on vinyl! It's so odd that they didn't release them, but Loved Me Back To Life got a vinyl release. I was so tantalized to open them and play them for the first time, over thirty years old. They sound amazing - clean, sharp, and so fresh. I've allowed this to ignite an interest in collecting many of her other vinyls. In a lot of cases, this is French albums I've never heard before because some are not on cd...and in all honesty I'm not too familiar with her stuff before incognito, maybe like 10 songs or so I can really think of.. so I know I'll have plenty to experience new.Haha well mainly because vinyl is the ultimate collectors item...Vinyl is a very special medium, always been and it's special it's still out there. The cd is truly dying, many of us don't even own cd players anymore.Streaming replaces the cd... but nothing can replace vinyl The one I want released on vinyl is "Miracle." No joke. That collaboration had so many vibrant colours attached to it. Imagine how beautiful the vinyl itself could be?!I have this 1996 version vinyl.... it is very nice!!! I understand I'm replying to some old posts, but I do so to bring up collecting. These vinyl releases has really changed the way I express my fandom. I've never fancied myself a real collector, although I have accrued multiple versions of many of her albums over the decades. Real collectors filled rooms of their houses with shrines, posters, and framed prints; I simply bought every cd and book I could get my hands on (especially when we'd take family trips to Montreal). Now I've discovered the breadth of eBay, and when I can find them at the right price, I have been purchasing records of Celine's to add to my collection. Now I have thirty four of her vinyl releases! I love hearing the hearing the dance mixes never released digitally. I think the satisfaction I get from physically starting a record is a reaction to the loss of control I've experienced over my mp3 library on iTunes due to the spreading of Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify, etc. My question is then, are any of y'all finding yourself doing the same and expanding your collection since Sony's recent releases?
