Brody-Celine Posted June 6, 2017 at 04:18 PM Posted June 6, 2017 at 04:18 PM Pretty sure you pick it up from the box office or something. I opted to pick my tickets up for my VIP packages. This is the info from my Manchester email - Please note package purchasers will be contacted via e-mail a few days prior to the event date with additional details. All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges under any circumstances. All packages and package contents (including tickets) are non-transferable. VIP merchandise will be distributed at the show, some exceptions may apply. Information provided at the time of purchase (name, address, e-mail, etc.) is the same information that will be utilized for individual contact requirements as applicable. The artist, tour, promoter, ticketing company, venue or any other affiliated parties are not responsible for outdated or inaccurate information provided by the consumer at the time of purchase. Commemorative VIP laminates are for commemorative purposes only. The VIP laminate does not gain or authorize access into the venue, VIP or any backstage areas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The setlist which was taped to the floor is the Vegas setlist. The one being stood up looks to be the tour setlist. There are spots where titles' lengths don't match up to what is currently being performed at Caesars Palace (eg. the fourth song in the medley with the long title). Likewise. I'm not expecting elaborate staging, or intense choreography in the dancing department. However, I want to see some real, honest to God effort made with the setlist. If we get "Vegas on wheels", I will be at a loss for words. - Thanks for the info Alison I don't think think i received that ! Super love for Celine - ohh that makes sense I'm going to enlarge in photo shop see if I can figure anything out! Quote
Jeanette Posted June 6, 2017 at 04:55 PM Posted June 6, 2017 at 04:55 PM Kings of Leon's Manchester gig on Friday 9th June cancelled. No surprise really, just don't understand why they are taking so long to inform ticket holders. They must know roughly how long it will need to remain closed for, depending on structural damage etc. I really can't see it being open again in time for Celine's concert. 1 Quote

Agreed -- unless they shut down / close off a certain section of the arena. And then add additional seat elsewhere? But that's probably a bigger hassle than I can even imagine. Are there other venues in Manchester that the concert could get switched to? But, again, since it's coming up so soon -- that might be too much of a headache. Shamrock_1982 Posted June 6, 2017 at 05:55 PM Posted June 6, 2017 at 05:55 PM I wonder when she flies over... I'm guessing this weekend and will probably stay in London and fly to different cities for this tour with maybe a night or two in a Paris Quote

But, again, since it's coming up so soon -- that might be too much of a headache. Not sure as I don't live in Manchester but I think the only other options are the cricket ground and the football stadiums but their capacities are far too big for the number of tickets sold and it seems that the events are being cancelled so last minute that there's no time for the promoters to try and organise a relocation. I really will be gutted if it doesn't go ahead but I just keep reflecting on what happened and think in light of things this really isn't that important (although it is to us). 2 Quote
brendanm999 Posted June 6, 2017 at 06:43 PM Posted June 6, 2017 at 06:43 PM If anything, it would probably only be the June 25 show canceled and they could probably reschedule that to be right after Glasgow. 1 Quote

Yeah that could very well be the case but I'm traveling down from Glasgow specifically for the June show and have already booked my hotel stay and train tickets. I can't get annual leave in August unfortunately so it wouldn't suit me to go then. I would just need to get a refund and will still need to go to Manchester as everything's booked even though my heart won't be in the trip at all with no show to look forward to. I know there are many people travelling to Manchester specifically for this concert so there's unfortunately a lot of us in the same situation. It's just so sad that this happened. I'm also in Glasgow & will be going to Manchester no matter what, as my flights/hotel/train are all paid for. I'm going to the two London shows, then Arnhem, so I'll be flying in from Holland to Manchester & staying there two nights, then heading back to Glasgow on 26th. I feel awful for wondering about whether the concert will go ahead or not, considering what has happened in Manchester, but it's only natural for us to be concerned when it's something we've paid a lot for & we're looking forward to. I guess this is probably the only place we can say something like that without people thinking we're just being really insensitive. Shamrock_1982 Posted June 6, 2017 at 07:50 PM Posted June 6, 2017 at 07:50 PM (edited) I may be wrong but I have a feeling Celine will be the first artist to perform there since the attacks on June 25th. As well as the investigation there, structural damage has to repaired and obviously security arrangements revised for the arena also. Edited June 6, 2017 at 07:50 PM by Shamrock_1982 2 Quote

Jeanette Posted June 6, 2017 at 08:54 PM Posted June 6, 2017 at 08:54 PM I so hope so 🤞🏻 Just feel that this is the big countdown to the show that we've waited all these months for and in fact years since some of us last had the opportunity to see her live and I just can't get excited whilst we don't know whether it will be going ahead or not. And you're totally right, it probably does sound so insensitive but I can't help how I feel but believe me it hasn't stopped me grieving and shedding many tears for the poor victims and their families over the past couple of weeks just as everyone has. I was just saying to my sister that Celine's show may just be the first show to re-open the arena and I really believe that she has the heart and compassion to get up there and do that. 3 Quote
Jeanette Posted June 6, 2017 at 09:01 PM Posted June 6, 2017 at 09:01 PM It appears the next concert scheduled at the Manchester Arena is Nashville in Concert on Saturday 17th June so I think we'll have a good idea by then if that doesn't go ahead as to whether Celine's is likely to. Suppose we should all try and remain positive I guess. 2 Quote

It's just so sad that this happened.I couldn't get the Saturday off work so I have to travel from Dunfermline (Scotland) to Manchester on the Sunday morning. It's been a nightmare arranging the trip and all the mire frustrating knowing that I could have just went to the Glasgow concert had it been announced. If the concert's cancelled I won't be going to Manchester for the fun of it and even if I get a refund I couldn't afford the second hand tickets for Glasgow. It's just a shame that I haven't been able to get excited about this concert at any point since it was announced and mat not get to Céline at all! Obviously the Manchester tragedy is completely unexpected but the tour planning could have saved a lot of grief! 😔 Quote

Jeanette Posted June 6, 2017 at 10:50 PM Posted June 6, 2017 at 10:50 PM I've just saw on twitter a copied messenger msg from a guy who says he knows someone who works at the Manchester Arena and they've been told all June events are off, apparently they knew about Kings of Leon 7 days ago but couldn't say anything. If this is the case then why can't they just announce all events off for foreseeable future and refund ticket holders or better still give the promoters a chance to try and reschedule or relocate. I can totally understand that the situation is out of their control but got to say it doesn't appear to be getting managed at all well. It's not really acceptable to keep cancelling shows with only a few days notice I don't think. Again I know this makes me sound insensitive so apologies for that because I'm really not. Quote
MrTim212 Posted June 6, 2017 at 10:50 PM Posted June 6, 2017 at 10:50 PM “The Reason” just came on my Céline playlist and I’m really hoping she adds this to the summer tour. Cafe67 Posted June 6, 2017 at 10:51 PM Posted June 6, 2017 at 10:51 PM Just saw on the news that a police officer was attacked in Paris just outside the Notre Dame cathedral. It makes me sick that people can't feel safe when they just want to leave their homes to enjoy the cities they live in or choose to visit. I hope all of you who will be traveling to any of the upcoming shows travel safely and enjoy your shows! 2 Quote
Naiomi zhannah Posted June 6, 2017 at 11:12 PM Posted June 6, 2017 at 11:12 PM It's going to be really upsetting if her Manchester concert gets canceled. My friend is traveling all the way from Australia to see her Quote
pat200 Posted June 6, 2017 at 11:17 PM Posted June 6, 2017 at 11:17 PM most of you are wishing she adds hard songs to her setlist. i am wishing the opposite, that she removes some of them to help her voice. she has so many gems she can sing instead 2 Quote
PuraVida Posted June 6, 2017 at 11:46 PM Posted June 6, 2017 at 11:46 PM I'll be happy with songs she hasn't done in a while or performed live ever! But I'll take what I can get Anddd...it's just always fun to see Celine's attitude and vocal adventurousness in concert! So much energy that reminds me of why I became a fan in the first place. 1 Quote

Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G901F met Tapatalk I wasn't commenting that I'd be upset for that reason, so I'm not sure where you're getting that idea from. I have paid a lot of money for my ticket for Manchester (£525) plus the flights from Holland, two nights hotel in Manchester & then my train back to Glasgow, but at the end of the day it was my decision to make the trips. Nobody forced me to. I did it because I love Celine & I want to see her as much as I can. I feel like you think I should somehow apologise for feeling bad if one show gets cancelled!! I realise I am very fortunate to be seeing her so many times (9 in total this tour) .. & was in no way making out like I'm hard done by if the Manchester show doesn't go ahead!! What happened in Manchester was horrific so I would be completely understanding of the fact it may get cancelled. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
