It's true and it's absolutely stupid not releasing a dvd or even a collector's series this Christmas.

The millennials want Celine and Sony Music don't get it!

I loved her poise and manner and attitude in this tour. She was so happy and confident and her voice was incredible.

 

I know we’re going in circles but it is just such a shame this wonderful setlist with that amazing TPOL opening and powerful voice and amazing lights won’t be released on DVD. Actually sad about it

Not only Sony but Celine herself has a big influence of course. And maybe they also let her current Vegas show count, because it has several of the English setlist's songs?

So I watched the Barbra concert special on Netflix, and I must say I am in agreement with the AP review (Barbra Streisand concert film a gooey lump of blah)

 

Found the entire thing tedious, overly calculated and lacking in heart, and frankly, conceited. I see no reason to watch it again.

 

I hope if we ever get a Celine concert special, it’s not like this one. (And I do hope that an OTT special is what we do get; I never understood the obsession with a DVD … Netflix / Amazon / Hulu is the way to go here.)

 

A Celine concert has so much more heart and soul than what was conveyed in this Babs special. Barbra is undeniably excellent at what she does, and I'm sure the actual live thing was excellent, but the filmed version just had me rolling me eyes a lot.

 

Celine has such energy on stage, but I worry that if Sony ever releases a Celine concert again it’ll be similarly sanitized, with all the life edited out of it. This is why I love audience recordings on YouTube. Sure, quality is lacking, but you get the real, raw, unedited thing. Spontaneous, Celine, not teleprompter Celine (except some of that pre-written between-song patter, but she’s been going off script more lately anyway, thankfully). I want behind the scenes stuff, and Celine being her kooky self. I want it rough around the edges, not an overly edited, saccharine and scripted concert film like this Babs one.

 

So bottom line, if we do get something from Team Celine, I hope it’s more like the Lady Gaga or Steve Aoki docs – far more interesting. Something that's more in keeping with the Vogue videos, rather than her sanitized TV specials of yore.

I liked what they did with 3boysandashow, but would really like to see the daily life.

The only problem with that is that it's easy to share your life when it's going well, it's a lot harder to do so when things are tougher. With everything they have gone through in the last few years their privacy has been important, especially with Eddy and Nelson being so young.

how do you know that it wont be released?

Guys... I don't know what to think about that but.. a friend who's working in a record shop (and he doesn't like Celine at all!) told me the Paris shows from this tour are gonna be released in a boxset containing 3 CDs THIS DECEMBER. ��

 

He doesn't know if CD 3 is other songs from this tour (english leg) or from the Summer Tour 2016! ��

Hmm.... now we know that this was either fake or cancelled.

I know, I thought the footage filmed for the screens during the concerts would have been enough for archive purpose.

Nous recevons quotidiennement des dizaines de messages concernant l'annonce qui a été faite il y a plusieurs mois sur la possibilité de sortie d'un DVD live de la tournée 2017 de Céline.

Nous tenions à faire une mise à jour et surtout une rectification de notre part....

 

Suite à plusieurs posts effectuer durant l'été sur notre page Facebook, nous vous avons laisser espérer qu'un live 2017 était prévu de la part de Sony.

Malheureusement AUCUN DVD n'est prévu à ce jour.

Nous tenons à faire notre mea culpa et à nous excuser pour ces mauvaises informations qui nous avait été communiquer et que nous avons trop rapidement publier.

Les concerts de Paris (8 et 9 juillet), Lyon (12 juillet) et Londres ( 29 et 30 juillet) bien été capté par plusieurs caméras d'une équipe de production mais seulement pour les archives de feeling productions

L'équipe de Céline peut utiliser cette image comme elle le veut (pour reportage télé documentaire à venir ou simplement archives...)

L'avenir nous le dira...

Le seul LIVE prévu pour les prochaines années, et nous pouvons vous l'annoncer en exclusivité sera la captation du show (Céline ...à Las Vegas) dans le courant de l'année 2018 pour une publication en 2019 après les dernières représentations au Caesars Palace
