Great news that they are adding shows and that there's strong demand despite the lack of a new album. Anyway, the general audience don't care about new songs, they want to hear the hits.

 

I still can't believe why they didn't book a stadium in Paris. Why spend a week there while she could have done only one show and save a date for another city? 4 Bercy means some 48,000 tickets sold which is the capacity of a medium-size stadium.

 

I read they are selling some 30,000 tickets for the French stadium concerts but the capacity of those is larger. Please, let's hope they don't do like at Croke Park and leave half of the pitch empty and some sections at the back unsold. You can easily see it on this video:

 

Still no news about Dublin? What about Belgium? Any other European country in August?

Well since I was buying 4 tickets for a second show (and now only need 2) , I almost want to sell all 4 and get two better seats.

 

I remember last year some good seats became available later on, is that something that may happen again? Or should I hold on to 2 of the 4? I dont want to overspend face value for 2 better seats so that's why I figure I'll hold on to 2.

Wow... it looks so empty. I remember watching CTTYOFW and I didn't notice it. Guess the cameraman knew his job very well to make it look full.

i was in dublin though at that concert and it was nutty packed !!! like mental !! that camera angle makes it look empty !! it certainly wasnt !! just that part of the pitch.......

Probably less costs and less risks (like during the TC tour when she also did a stadium tour, but most stadiums were at most half empty, but still more fans than would fit in an arena). And smaller venues also probably means even more expensive tickets.

because is seated places, if she goes to Portugal, they will find away to put 30 000 people in a place for 12000, just stand up places

I love that they added the accent. In my language Icelandic, we use accents and words and names that are missing their accents just look weird. Glad that they are now writing Célines name correctly

LOVE the fact they are using the original logo. Love it! I so hope the new english album has the Celine logo on the front of the album. It might even sway old fans that own Falling Into You, The colour of My Love....These are special times etc and recognize that logo to pick up.....reintroduce Celine to them again.

Unfortunately no. Europe is not in the budget for me this year.

I believe the reason for not using the whole stadium capacity is production, we are talking of a small tour, like 25 dates so I don't think they are planning to invest a lot in production, have a big stage, big screens and so forth, and that would be needed if they would have use the whole capacity in order for people at the end to actually see something. This or that they weren't expecting such a big demand, I'm pretty sure she would have sold out in Stockholm the full capacity as well.

 

When it comes to the songs there could be one or two surprises but I'm not expecting a setlist like last year, 90% of people attending are probably not diehard fans and they will want to hear the hits and I'm fine with it, they paid a lot of money and deserve a good time listening to MHWGO, TPOL, IACBTMN, RDMH, TT ...
