This is not fair at all, she or her team always skip Spain in their tour plans, for example.

To me, this is not an European Tour. Where are countries like Austria, Italy, Portugal, Czech Republic, Spain, and more?? This is a France and UK tour mainly.

Maybe she will add more dates in August?? Let's see what future holds for us.....LOL :-D

Of course she has to visit South América, as she did with Mexico in 2008, but now we're talking about the European Tour. Europe is not only France and UK

I was lucky to see her perform in Vegas 2011, but I'd love to see her in Spain

I absolutely hate that they announce new dates and they go on sale immediately without any warning. So if you aren't online every minute of the day, you miss out. It hasn't happened to me but I feel for the fans who lost out because of that.

 

And today, I didn't have to wait to enter the sales for Paris July 8th but still everything was sold out. But I continued and finally got a ticket. But this is all so weird!! I bet they are holding off some tickets to have special sales for different sponsors

The sale of tickets for this tour as far as I saw totally sucked and was a horrible experience ! I paid crazy money for a sapphire package and I'm only row g ! I feel like for that money my seats iarr too far back !! I've never paid so much for a Celine concert .....It has been really weird !!!! 😒

Took the risk and bought 2 tickets for another O2 show - this time on the 30th July. Went for the cheap seats at the back of block 412 as it was a bonus. Thought to myself it's going to be cheaper than a trip to Vegas and god knows when we'll next see Celine in the UK.

 

I hope with the popularity of tickets today we will see more of Celine in the UK. It's certainly proved there is a market for her and she hasn't been forgotten about.

 

Just bring on the 20th June and and the 30th July now.

Funny story...

 

I was at work after my overnight last night and a social worker walked in and was a bit flustered on her phone.... I was looking through paperwork to give her when she apologised and said "I'm sorry but I'm trying to buy tickets for Celine Dion and I'm really struggling!". She is about my age and we already get on really well but had no idea she loved Celine.

 

I had to tell her I already got mine last week and she was so jealous! The young people in the room (also in love with Celine now since I worked there) were all looking on the computers for tickets for her.... it was crazy.... never in a million years did I expect that to happen haha

 

Quite a few people from school on my Facebook also were posting about getting tickets and posting Articals about new dates... these were the same people who laughed at me in high school for loving her!

 

I felt like I was in another Celine loving universe!

It would't surprise me if the album would be released in August like Encore un soir. Céline didn't use the 2016 tour as a promo for Encore Un Soir and I doubt she will do it for the English album. Maybe if she releases one single in the spring

I suppose it depends on how much of the album is ready now, and if it can be finished in time. Depends on how many songs they've accepted (to record),and when the studio times and producers etc are booked for. Sadly we don't know the answers. It would be great if it could be released in time for the tour, but it will sell really well anyway. EUS proved that.

Agree, she has to release the album in April/May the latest. She's going on a two months "vacation" now so maybe she's do the finishing touches of the album (and work on Voice) oh yeah and her new Bugatti line.. so maybe not so much of a vacation.

I have to say that the whole ticket buying experience today was one of the worst most stressful things I have ever had to do. There is something very dodgy abut how Ticketmaster sells tickets. It's impossible for like 12 tries to turn up no seats available when you are on from 9am. No normal seats available but yet they had scores of VIP package seats just sitting there. Even the tickets I eventually did get were over £100 each. I'm sure most people paid way over the general advertised prices.

 

They also own that Get Me In site, which resells their tickets at inflated value. Ticketmaster seem to have a monopoly and can just do as they please. There is no way of knowing what is really available at all.

If you live in Europe, I do not think that such a problem to go to the neighboring country for a concert. This is too small a distance. I live in Russia near Lake Baikal, and to fly to France, it is necessary to spend a lot more time and money. About ticket prices. I was at a concert in Paris in 2013. I had a place on the front row in the center. I paid 750 £ eventtravel for vip package. It was my first concert of Celine, a dream come true. Everything was very cool !!! And I would pay again. You are lucky that you live so close. Do not complain! Yes, it is clear that you want to see a concert in your home country, but Celine gives concerts in different parts of Europe. come not so difficult from a neighboring country, I think.

Agree, I was actually shaking when trying to buy tickets. And I was one of the first onto the ticketmaster.fr because I could go directly into ticketsale but everything was sold out like right away for July 8th. And that date had NO presale!! But ok I can't complain since I did get tickets but after 15 minutes of trying again and again.

Oh yeah totally agree with you. Céline also said she was going to take time to make this album since she usually always does them in such a hurry. I was just mentioning IF she was going to do a promo tour, she would have to release it later. But yeah that's never going to happen.

I agree, it's so easy for people in Europe to travel between countries. I'm like you, I have to travel far to see her. Buy super expensive plane tickets and travel from Iceland.

But I don't want to belittle other peoples concern that Céline isn't visiting their country because many fans might struggle to make the ends meet at the end of the month, let alone travel long distances with train and having to take time of from work. I understand that many people can't afford that.

Yeah it's great if you can afford to travel, and/or buy top priced tickets. But not every one can - me included. I only work part time (had to cut my hours back to look after my parents. Since they died my workplace haven't been able to give me any more permanent hours) and i have my own house to run. And no, I'm not on any benefits whatsoever. So every penny counts. I can sympathise with those who can't always afford to grab tickets etc in a day's notice.

I think anyone shaming anyone for any reason about not being able to go to these concerts is disgusting. Nobody knows what anyone else's situation is. Had I not received my tax return this week, there's no way that traveling to England would even be a thought.
