I think it doesn't really matter if the album comes out before or after the mini tour... because Céline would only perform 3 or 4 songs maximum from the new album anyway... But what I'm not happy about is another album being released in the fall when all the big selling artists release their albums. Wouldn't it be nice if Sony would finally decide to release her album when the competition is not so fierce and get a #1 album again? I know it's not that important but it would be great... and it's free promo!

I for one don't care at all at what time of the year is released, and if it's going to be competition around it that happenes in November or not. For what's worth, Sony is going to promote it the same way be it released in March or in November, so what difference does it make?

 

All what matters is that it is a GREAT album from the first track to the last one, not when they release it and if it's going to have competitors or not. Just my two cents...

I agree with Javito's post at 100%, but it's only natural that certain fans are concerned about sales. Don't worry Xpresso, 'Encore Un Soir' was released the same day as Britney Spears' latest album and had a much bigger commercial success. We are talking about a French album vs a Britney Spears album.

 

So I don't think we should worry about sales at all. Of course she will most probably not sale as much as she used to sale in the late 90s but it certainly won't be a flop

I'm not concerned so much about sales. I'm concerned about Céline getting a #1 album!

Barbra got a #1 album selling less than EUS... so I don't care if Céline sells 50k album in the first week as long as nobody else sells more than her that week...

@Javito - Even if I were really concerned about sales, no need to act like a smart@ss ... mainly after your repetitive "concerns" about Vegas again and again, and your non-stop complaints about covers. We are all allowed to have our "concerns" so when someone else does, just chill - as we have had to do with the endless concerns that you repeat in almost every thread...

To me it does. Going on tour without releasing a new album is a complete non-sense. I did not get it with the Europe tour this summer, and honestly, this is part of the reason why I did not go to see her in Paris (other reasons were I was quite short on money lately, plus I did not manage to get good seats with that stupid website).

I really hope that if she goes on tour after the album is released, she would do more than 3-4 songs as you said. Look for USF, she performed PAMP QPVSA CQMATA LMELE JNPBDA LM, that makes 6 songs from Sans Attendre, which was good.

Now, they plan to go on tour in non-francophone countries, to promote a non-francophone album. Therefore I expect as well 6 songs from the new album

However, I don't care when the album is released, I just hope they will reveal the tour dates quite early so I can save money

Ok, the Paris concert outfit was not very feminine, but she wanted to focus on the music (tribute to Rene and her fans) and not her outfit.

So it was right that time.

And I love her family talk (in the right balance of course), that's why I love her as a person and not only as a singer.

Yes, she should sing more of her songs (new songs hopefully) in her concerts, but if she loves to cover a song (from Adele or Sia) why not

(also in the right balance of course).

I don't agree with you guys. I've seen her the first night in Paris. She was feminine ( makeup, attitude , hair( not her best haircut) jewels!!!)

The only thing that could be a problem were her pants.

But she seemed so comfortable on stage. Danced a lot, sang lying on the floor ( during Naziland). She was 200% Celine. And she was vocally amazing !

 

I think this outfit was very 'celinish'! she was so natural in her moves and stage presence. For being the only one costume for the whole show it was a great choice

I'm curious if Celine can do what Madonna does in her Rebel Heart Tour (I think Madonna has a choreographer). It would be great to see her do those steps like Madonna does in that tour. Our celine can dance, flexible (see her Taking Chances Tour and Summer Tour), athletic (see A new day bts) so she can do a little stunts haha. The outfits are great in that Rebel Heart Tour though, Celine's stylist can do that too. Just curious, if it happens do you think it will be amazing? Well, Madonna is 58 so celine do that too

If she went with 2017, do we have confidence she can do an English tour as she did a french one this year? "Not necessarily singing the hits" ....I honestly don't think they could do an English show to the level of the French 2016 one without new material....
