The band didn’t know who they were playing with? Wasn’t it Celine’s band? I’m confused.

 

Yeah. There were her backup singers and scott but there were some string players off stage... possibly thats who they were discussing ??

Exactly, we dont see them. But there were string elements in every single song and yet there were none of them on stage, leading me to believe they were backstage, or simply off stage.

 

The reason i said it is because theres confusion about who has been interviewed as it was not one of celines musicians, so this popped to mind

Oh okay. I believe they used the pre-recorded string section from the Asia tour then.

I found it amazing, the way she did it was better than colosseum concert !

This mhwgo vocals were amazing! Even though she kinda craked at the “you’re here...”

When did she crack at “youre here”? The only “crack” i heard was when she was a little raspy and hit a C# on the “foreeeeever this way”

It was on “nothing I fear “ and “ forever this way”

Agreed, she sounded so clear and bright on the “and i knoooow” and “well stayyyyy” oh and the “you are saaaaafe”... no where near as froggy as she sounds in vegas and IMO sounded better than 2017

I took it as the attendees were told a big name was performing, but they didn’t know who that big name was until Celine walked out.

The show was fantastic tonight! I’m trying to load a video but alas it is telling me I’m not permitted.

She looks fantastic in person. She was funny and happy. She said something funny about her shoes and that’s the video I can’t load.

Tonight she did the original humming at the end. She sounds really good but didn't seem very engaged in this performance, not a lot of hand motions or cape flipping. Maybe it's just me.

I find it crazy for anyone outside of the u.s flying back to Vegas to see this show “again” now at this stage, unless it’s for the very last show.

I know we had a discussion about the way she sings PQTME and I thought it was a little harsh but....... I have to say I was a little disappointed in it last night. (Don’t stone me) it’s like she’s thinking, ‘oh it’s Vegas I’m just going to get through it.’ Any way it’s how I felt about it. :innocent:

Lol I was singing it and she was pausing and doing unnecessary runs and I’m like damn I’m off rhythm .... :pinch: :lol:

I love when Celine makes changes to songs, but PQTME is one of those songs that is just too good in its original form... The whole buildup from the simple start to the climax at the end, too much fancifulness in the middle ruins it for me.
