It could be the final song in the setlist after singing My Heart Will Go On... a little speech about the new song. Then, the visual will change like the one in the music video

Why they now like to amplify Celine voice in the recording studio? That it doesnt sound smooth anymore. Same with HDAMLF and Recovering. I once used Melodyne and I know when we larger the size of the note in Melodyne, the sound will be amplified. Too much.

So I had an idea now I'll prob soon be labeled dvd girl but whatever. Anyways our very own Brendan (brendanm999) very kindly recorded MHWGO in full from the screens as well as some of TT, ABM and Prince Medley back in January when the screens first debuted.You can watch them on his youtube page https://www.youtube....5bMt4a1vvRCIq2g I was thinking perhaps those going in May - June can try and record some more songs in full for us from the screens if they are still working during this leg. If each person does one or two each I reckon we may be able to piece together the whole show and edit it into one big file eventually. As we have seen no matter what is said Celine's team is very unpredictable and often changes their mind and so far as we've seen we have not gotten any sort of dvd or pro footage of any concert since 2013. For those who are willing to volunteer perhaps let us know what song you wish to record so that way we can make sure you guys aren't all recording the same song. I know many people don't care for the Vegas show and that is more then fine but many of us do like it so this idea if for those who do enjoy it and wish to preserve it one way or another. I just got word today that the fall 2018 Vegas dates will be announced soon and will be supplemented by a new poster advertising "Residency ends 2019" Edited by brendanm999

Does she theoretically have dates in Vegas all the way through Fall of 2019? I must start planning. :giggle:

 

A piece of my heart is going to die the day she leaves Vegas. Yes, I understand this is selfish because I live so close. It's going to be a hard adjustment. Nothing new on possibly extending her contract? All new show after this one ends perhaps? :cry:

I don't know the exact dates, however based on the schedule at The Colosseum we can almost surely assume they will be Sept 18 - Oct 6 and Nov 6 - 24, and likely NYE weekend through Jan 19, 2019.

She's building a new house there, RC has his life there and its very good for her not travel all the time because of the family, besides its very lucrative! So if she finish this contract at Caesars Palace definitily next year, I think she will rest a bit and then she will start a new residency there or in other hotel.

Very true. However I'm sure she wouldn't pass up the Colosseum if she were to start another residency.

Exactly. She will probably take a break and start a new show at Caesars a year or two later (less shows maybe?).

It'll be a bit surreal to see advertisements for her Vegas residency ending in 2019.

 

She should do another world tour and do some projects she's always wanted to do!

 

Then she should return to Vegas with a fresh, fabulous new residency in a couple years. :)

 

Celine Dion changed Las Vegas forever. So even if she never performs there again, no one will ever top her. :wub:

Vegas without Céline is like a summer without sun. If it's true that 2019 will be the final year, I also hope that she will do some other projects and come back with a new residency show in a few years. For me she should stay at Caesar's.... a team like pitch and brimstone. Exciting time!!

Oh thats very interesting! It would be very good to end this residency. If only to develop a new show and start fresh!

It's bizar how time went by.

And to know that they didn't change the show a lot it's really a waste of their talents.

 

Anyway I hope it ends in January 2019, not December. :giggle: it's taking toooo long.

 

Take a holiday, and maybe mini tours around the world. And come back later with a badass new over the top production in Vegas :wub:

 

 

Oh thats very interesting! It would be very good to end this residency. If only to develop a new show and start fresh!

im really super excited to see her this June 9th and 8th. with all her time off her voice is gonna be in top shape. :) Ticket sales are going back up i noticed :) The season of Celine :D

I know she mentioned something about building a new home in LV some years ago, but does anyone have confirmation that she is building? I keep hearing it here, but there is no mention of it anywhere else that I can find (that is a legitimate news place).

It was mentioned again a month or two ago. I don't know if it's true though. I only saw it in one gossip magazine

Exactly, the Colosseum is a theatre that Rene conceived specifically for her to perform in, she's not likely to want to perform elsewhere on the strip.

I’m sure she’ll have a year or two away from caesars. Probably for several reasons too: a break, a tour, to record possibly, to plan a new Vegas show.

Lets just hope that when she does decide to end Lv , that she will come back with new outfits, song choses,or hell she doesn't even have to sing , just have her tell her jokes and I'll be happy,

It’s like all the other ones, people can RSVP that they’re going and such, but it gives me hope because idk if they’d create that if she wasn’t at least doing somewhat better.

There really aren't that many songs in the show right now...(JEEZ!!) I think Ashes would be great after Purple Rain or MHWGO.
