The special seemed very rushed, edited, and definitely could've and should've been longer. Not necessarily from a fan's perspective but as a viewer in general. It just seemed very copy and pasted and trying to fit the main points into 44 mins or so. It's a shame but at least we got a glimpse!

 

For me I would've preferred to see what she was doing during her off-time during Paris and in Quebec. They didn't even show her going to QC or Trois-Rivieres as someone stated. It would've been nice when she was having a day off and we got to see her hang out at the house, go for a stroll and being interviewed instead of her running into a car, walking into a studio building, jetting to the next location and so forth.

 

The special needed to have more on an objective and perspective than just following her around during her promo tour in my opinion. If we're suppose to have "unlimited access" as the name of the show says, a day off with Céline and actually see her be herself and have the "star/singer" mode turned off would've been the icing on the cake for me.

I agree but I think it's Celine or her team who wouldn't let them that deep into her life. They said Jean Philippe and Anouk during many radio interviews that her schedule was so tight, they would allow them a certain number of minutes and wouldn't go beyond the time allowed by a minute. Apparently it was super hard to get to her and all...

Ah well in that case that's a bummer and her team's fault then for not giving this show a little more time. They really probably only needed 1 or 2 more days of other footage and it would've been great!

why people are asking j-p for the dvd of the tour? This guy is working for a tv station. He is not in Celine's team lol Of course they will release a dvd, every celine tour have a dvd. I was at celine une seule fois and we didnt know they were filming a dvd and few months after : they released it!

I remember Rene saying that USF is a once in a lifetime concert and that it won't be recorded so if you want to see it, you have to come. Probably he just said it to sell all the Tickets. It's a business strategy. If you announce right away that there will be a DVD, many people won't buy Tickets and attend the shows, they will buy the DVD instead. So I don't give up my hope for a Christmas release of the Summer tour Edited by ryba

I hope it gets uploaded to youtube and that condor can do the amazing translations for us that everyone so very much appreciates. Myself included. :-D

 

Does anyone know if any pictures were shown that are new or rare? If so, I hope someone posts them to the forum for everyone to enjoy. :)

But just wait for a special event/show where she performs all the French hits again one after the other, PQTME, SISDA, LAEE, DUM, ONCP, Destin etc etc etc, and they will do everything possible to display the greatest film crew to give us the umpteenth DVD with the same songs :giggle: Isn't this true?

They could use all the access limite footage for a DVD backstage documentary. Im sure they have hours and hours of footage

Well, having cameras around when you're off, it's not a day off anymore...is it?

well isnt that a kick in the pants...i was filmed applauding at the montreal premier!!!! I was wearing a hat!!! During the et je t aime encore part...and also

when I went back on the 16th orchestra seats.. should have worn the hat again ...lol.

I don't understand those comments about this being rushed . Of course, I have no doubts about some parts having been cut off but I don't care about what she does during her days off.

 

It's so much more interesting to know what she feels about her performances... she was sad and worried after her ( weak) performance of TSMGO @Jimmy Fallon. "My voice was so raspy" she said.

 

I mean/ we spend so much time judging all of her performances, like she doesn't know how she was...
