I'm not a fan of that outfit at all. When you have a song such as Recovering, you want the attention to be on the song, not on the apron or whatever she is wearing... I like the outfit. The pattern mixing is cute. I maybe wish the skirt were a different color instead of orange, but I do really like the overall look.

 

The blue panels in the skirt are also plaid...matches the top. I love it!

He uses Celine as a sort of fashiondoll but he does have tacky choices..this one is def not a good choice. Little house on the prairie. Looks so oldfashioned..not artist worthy.

Yeah, I'm not feeling it either.

Seems 'Celine doing impressions' is a thing now since it worked so well on Fallon. Probably because everyone knows she's a good sport and will sing anything (or, as she tends to do, will randomly burst into song to avoid answering a question). But that's a totally understandable defense mechanism.

I did, however, love the idea of Celine just jamming with Scott at the piano. Can you imagine how awesome it would be to just sit in on that - a rehearsal or a studio session - her just riffing with him improvising like that? Without any forced comedy?

Probably because that is how she feels and wants to express herself. Most people wouldn't blame God, they would talk about it as things happening in life. In life things happen, this is part of life, etc. Maybe some people would blame God (though I hope they can work through that for their own sake, and I know people ask why sometimes). But, her description and expression makes sense to me. But, I am a Christian (and based on her life and choices, I believe she is too. This is not a cue for some big debate. Anyway, that is why it may make sense to me).

 

These phrases are probably her best way to express this situation and how she feels without needing to get into things so deeply, because it is deeply personal and she will have to keep talking about it for some time.

I can't figure out why the interviews on Ellen seem awkward. But, you're right her interviews on Ellen do kind of seem awkward. Maybe it will be better this time around?

maybe she doesn't want to impose her views on this, she would not see the end of this. Religion is like politic, better to keep it personnal.
