Xpresso Posted September 9, 2016 at 07:41 PM Posted September 9, 2016 at 07:41 PM (edited) I'm not a fan of that outfit at all. When you have a song such as Recovering, you want the attention to be on the song, not on the apron or whatever she is wearing... I do like when she tries bold outfits, but it's not really the right moment in my opinion... She can look so good at times, but not this time!! Edited September 9, 2016 at 08:02 PM by Xpresso 2 Quote
CelinesDIVO5 Posted September 9, 2016 at 07:45 PM Posted September 9, 2016 at 07:45 PM I like the outfit. The pattern mixing is cute. I maybe wish the skirt were a different color instead of orange, but I do really like the overall look. The blue panels in the skirt are also plaid...matches the top. I love it! 2 Quote https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL54qnRGM2gMatthew Charles - "Fix You" - Live at The Stonewall InnStonewall Sensation - Season 15Originally written and performed by Coldplay
Nmj Posted September 9, 2016 at 07:49 PM Posted September 9, 2016 at 07:49 PM I actually like that outfit it just works lol... But I still would love to see Celine in skinny jeans and a very casual blouse something like the OH album cover. 1 Quote
browseceline Posted September 9, 2016 at 07:56 PM Posted September 9, 2016 at 07:56 PM Please come back, Annie! He uses Celine as a sort of fashiondoll but he does have tacky choices..this one is def not a good choice. Little house on the prairie. Looks so oldfashioned..not artist worthy. Nmj Posted September 9, 2016 at 07:59 PM Posted September 9, 2016 at 07:59 PM People are a little hard on his choice for the Ellen show. It's very fashion forward and very FALL! I'm not a fan of all his choices but this is a great choice. I'm sure he will choose something more elegant for tonight's SUTC 5 Quote
Shamrock_1982 Posted September 9, 2016 at 08:06 PM Posted September 9, 2016 at 08:06 PM I hope she wears the stand up to cancer t-shirt and a pair of black trousers or jeans, as this show is not about fashion or status... 1 Quote

Celine-Express Posted September 9, 2016 at 11:02 PM Posted September 9, 2016 at 11:02 PM I like the new Celine style by Law Roach! It's sure isn't Annie Horth, she was the stylist of Celine during many years, but the change is great also! It's sure it will be viral one more time, first (the most important), probably the song she will sing (Recovering) and their clothes! 2 Quote Encore un soir..Encore une heure..Encore une larme de bonheur..Un soir..

scielle Posted September 11, 2016 at 11:36 PM Posted September 11, 2016 at 11:36 PM (edited) Well this is interesting... "From the files of flip it and reverse it, Ellen DeGeneres had Celine Dion use her powerful voice to cover a trio of rap songs, including Missy Elliott’s “Work It,” as well as Britney Spears’ “Work *CENSORED*.”On Monday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Dion was given lyrics from pop songs “Hot in Herre” by Nelly, “Shots” by LMAFO feat. Lil Jon, and the aforementioned Spears and Elliott tracks, and tasked with turning their recognizable phrases into ballads fit for the singer behind “My Heart Will Go On.”“My career’s going to end tonight,” Dion joked." Is it a metaphor for something? I never heard it before. Is it common in English language? Edited September 12, 2016 at 12:10 AM by ryba Quote

incognito Posted September 12, 2016 at 02:18 AM Posted September 12, 2016 at 02:18 AM Absolutely could have done without the rap segment. Celine singing "Work It". Oh how funny. Not. Absolutely dislike her on Ellen. I dislike Ellen when Celine is on the show. They always seem awkward and forced. It's like Ellen doesn't know how to control her/doesn't understand her. Probably because Ellen always has to be the "funny" leader in any situation. 2 Quote

Probably because Ellen always has to be the "funny" leader in any situation. Yeah, I'm not feeling it either.Seems 'Celine doing impressions' is a thing now since it worked so well on Fallon. Probably because everyone knows she's a good sport and will sing anything (or, as she tends to do, will randomly burst into song to avoid answering a question). But that's a totally understandable defense mechanism.I did, however, love the idea of Celine just jamming with Scott at the piano. Can you imagine how awesome it would be to just sit in on that - a rehearsal or a studio session - her just riffing with him improvising like that? Without any forced comedy? 2 Quote

Most people wouldn't blame God, they would talk about it as things happening in life. In life things happen, this is part of life, etc. Maybe some people would blame God (though I hope they can work through that for their own sake, and I know people ask why sometimes). But, her description and expression makes sense to me. But, I am a Christian (and based on her life and choices, I believe she is too. This is not a cue for some big debate. Anyway, that is why it may make sense to me). These phrases are probably her best way to express this situation and how she feels without needing to get into things so deeply, because it is deeply personal and she will have to keep talking about it for some time.
