I have never watched Carpool Karaoke, it gives me a headache.

 

For all I know, this guy has a reputation for outsinging everyone... it will be interesting to try beat Celine. She'll have him for breakfast.

Yeah Celine would eat him alive and spit him out before he knew what happened, but I don't want Celine on his show because it would be awkward and dare I say it ... cringeworthy. She would sing Michael Jackson songs and go off in another direction...

People said Mariah was arrogant in the christmas episode but the fact is that her face is so stuffed with Botox that she can't express herself anymore. She has this constant happy face. Don't think she was annoyed or arrogant at all but she just can't show emotions because of the botox in her cheeks!

 

I think these days, Madge is better on tour. I would hardly agree with the fact that she still puts out quality material, nor that "Rebel Heart" is a masterpiece. Every single album she put out, up to "Ray Of Light" were phenomenal. All of them. "Music" was good, but certainly a disappointing follow up. "American Life" was a complete disaster. One of only 3 albums I've ever returned to the store. "Confessions On A Dance Floor" was absolutely fantastic. That was a true to form return, in my opinion. "MDNA" was not great and only sold what it did due to it's being attached to ticket sales (smart business move, but not a great album). "Hard Candy" was a HUGE "NO THANKS" to me...including the tour. I called it "The Tourette's Tour" because she was completely loony and just cursing in the middle of songs with no context. "Rebel Heart" as an album was okay. The lead single (can't even remember the name) was nice. "Ghost town" was the only really good song on it. I am excited to watch the tour special though. The set list was on point.

As much as I find this show nice, fun, and gives a great promotion exposure, somehow I find that Céline doesn't fit in this kind of segments. She's not cool, she's never been, and she doesn't have to do it just because "the others" are doing it. Also, I think that the more she's out of these things that everybody does -except her-, the more exclusive she remains

the problem is that I think she would be a bit overacted and too goofy... but if she relaxs I think it would be nice..(and remember all the recordings inside car with renee.., she is a profesionnal of car recording.. hahaha) I love all the carpools... Corden is a fantastic singer... And he creates a very natural and funny ambient in the car... just like regular people singing in the car... I've been like Corden hundreds of time.. (just that my singing is BAD... hahaha)..

Exactly my thoughts Good thing that there's no audience, so maybe Celine will be more comfortable. And editing is very important thing, for example, to cut her MJ sounds on 'wheel of impressions' and interruption moments, it would be millions times better

And to be honest I didn't enjoy that much her last appearances on American tv, Celine seems to be overexcited and not confident. So, in my opinion she either shouldn't do shows like this and I agree with Javito here, or do them more often and it will be just fine for her.

Oh, and I think Celine can be cool for the audience, she just needs to show this side of her

There is something more... Feels like I dislike the notion of Celine being part of TV show segments that are intended to go ''Viral''. I think these people try way too hard. They seem fun and all, but I consider them a bit desperate. And I want Celine to be out of this system. In a way, I prefer her to be un-cool as we know and love her.

I would not want her to change to please me, she is doing whatever she can to stay afloat. Seing her before when René was taking all the decision was making me unconfortable , now i think she could make some mistakes but it will be for the best. Every thing was planned to gain something, she is passed that . And she is not trying or pretending, she lives her life . How come that she will take time to record her english album? Do people think she needs someone to reel her in and record it in a week like before. ? Nothing is perfect, there will be things we don't like.

Actualy Rene wasn't telling her how to act. That was all her. Always has been. He even said that's the 1 thing he doesn't tell her. On how to act.He felt it was part of her charm and one reason why she was successful.

If she did perform at the Trump inauguration it could be a good thing. But it's best she stays out of all politics and have no opinions on it if she's asked. Just remember she did have ties with Donald Trump. They called each other friends back in the day. She and her mom even had some private breakfast charity thing with Trump in the 90's.
