It was ok (Melissa appearing was good lol), but I just find Christina too screechy, like she's trying too hard. And her face looks, I don't know, has she had work done? But the main thing for me was Celine's warm ups are soooo much better

Celine is always late to the party.. took her years to perform on "the voice", she waited til the ratings of "Dancing with the stars" were down to appear, she still hasn't done "The talk", back when the orginal "American idol " was pulling in 17 million viewers a night she didn't appear and then waited til the ratings were down and did a prerecorded performance with Elvis. "GLEE" wanted her and that never happened now that show is gone. I could keep going on and on but I won't. The fact is I don't think Céline cares to do ANY shows UNLESS she has a new project to promote and she needs to learn that its okay, in fact good to do shows to just be seen by the public just the same way they have to learn that in 2018 they don't have to wait 6 years for a complete album when they should be releasing a few singles a year without feeling obligated to do a full album and wait years to just promote it for 5 weeks and forget it ever existed. Ok rant over, still adore Celine, but gosh sheneeds to finally hire a new manager and preferably someone who gets it.

I do not know what he really did for Celine when he was a manager, but for sure she was a around.

Singles like TSMGO, Recovering (whether they were good choices or not) she did several performances on tv shows with not a lot of time between them. So she was on tv for sure every 2/3 months.

 

And since he is gone, all this is gone.

Maybe a bit exaggerating.

 

His social media work was also on top, a few fb live things, streaming of a few songs. Etc etc.

 

Anyway a new manager who knows how to deal with the current stuff is needed!

She really really needs a manager! I thought at first it was great she would manage herself but it's not working.

 

And regarding interviews. I think she got sick and tired of them because they are always about René and she was always answering the same questions.

But a manager could help with that and direct the interviewer

I don’t think she’s asked always about René, in fact it’s her who always redirects the questions to René and her family and children and deviates from the topic and finds a way to connect the question to what René though or said about this and that.

 

Actually on the last interview for the Asia tour she was asked several times about the new album and new music and she deviated from the question again without answering
