Is nothing sacred anymore and Would I know were recorded as well for All the way...Did they or for LTAL?

I believe that "Is nothing sacred" was recorded for LTAL and "Would I Know" for ATW. ;)

The forum is very quiet today.

Tomorrow we are supposed to learn more details about the event in Los Angeles -- which hopefully will shine light on what all of this promo will be for.

BRING ON THE NEW MUSIC!

I'd really love it if they used Celine's classic logo again for all the new promo materials too. :w00t:

One Heart (AKA the Chrysler album) is her WORST english album along with LMBTL, she tried to be "cool" with new sounds and it only has a handful of good songs (in his touch, Je taime encore and One Heart)

She should do more 90's stuff with new arregments (it did wonders in her last tours) remeber how cool Zora Sourit was among other 90s gems?

“One Heart” album is one my favorites! I would take it over “Taking Chances”, Loved Me Back To Life” and “Miracle” albums any day of the week!

I could careless if they are recycled songs from ANDHC, because

a) ANDHC was a brilliant album

And

B) we’ve seen worse ANDHC was released in 2002 and OH was released in 2003;

Hell the songs on this upcoming English album are more recycled than that in my eyes, some rumored to be recorded like 3 or more years ago.

Oh I love In His Touch. I was in middle school when that album came out, lol. I think One Heart should have been called "Touch". For some reason I've always thought so.

I always thought that “One Heart” album should’ve been called “Naked” :D

Yeah, that would be my second choice I think. If One Heart wasn't such a cheeseball song, maybe I would've been okay with it as the title of the album

INS is a real gem, only the arrangement is kind of incomplete. WIK is truly terrible. I really wonder why they even bothered to go and record it

One heart is my second favourite Celine album, right after ANDHC! :) I’m mainly listening to these two all the time recently. I really wish that she would dedicate her next world tour to ANDHC, OH and the new album instead of singing the same old ballads for decades Edited by ryba

I actually, like the song “One Heart” as well. The whole album I could listen to track by track and never get bored, of course I have my favorites like “ I know what love is” and “stand by your side”, “naked” and “reveal” but I love the whole album.

I just think “Naked” would’ve been a good title to the album.

WIK is a demo. . . So it shouldn't be judged as a full produced song. Same goes for INSA

Having just entered my 15th year of being a member of the forum. and probably just as long since I last posted    - I do love the fact that every topic I click on gets hijacked by the subjects of "one song is better than another song".

So back to the topic at hand.... still no news on an air date for Carpool????? :-D :-D :-D

AMEN to all of it! Who cares if OH was made with leftovers from ANDHC when the ANDHC sessions were packed of outstanding and amazing songs??

Give OH songs anytime before TC and obviously the totally forgettable LMBTL fiasco.

I always thought that ANDHC is one of her worst album with LMBTL.

I mean, for me this album is just too stodgy, with absolutly no artistic direction at all. I'm aware this is basically more or less the case for any Dion's album but this one is I think the worst. There is absolutly no soul or direction in this album and it is way more obvious on this one than any other material.

Globally the project was: Let's put I Surrender so we will have at least one signature dramatic ballad, let's put some jazz songs at the end to show that she is also a serious singer and she can make it, well let's add also a soft rock song in the middle and finally, let's fill the rest with generic bubble pop songs and even some R'nB. All that with way too produced songs. I cannot even listen to this album and I think that globally the songs are not great.

I think One Heart is way better. The songs are good, well produced, light, and it is cohesive. It's like a small but gorgeous album where she tries something more acoustic and raw, in a simple, enjoyable pop way. She has there her only good buble pop songs : Reveal, faith. naked the acoustic sound on In is touch and stand by your side is just perfect and rare, I know what love is is a gem, and Je t'aime encore one of her best song ever.

Let's go back to the topic :-D

Excited by this new TV project and anxious at the same time. I just wish she will manage to channel her energy and vocals. Most of the time I hate her vocals when she is goofy.

I know, but even as a demo it doesn’t sound good for me personally, whereas INS has so much potential

I constantly listen to One Heart, and I think that even today this album sounds very fresh and modern. I think that if it was released today, it would still be a huge success (maybe even bigger than in 2003, given that Celine is considered to be cool now)

I agree 100%! I can listen to every single song of One Heart without skipping a track, because non of them is boring. I think this album is perfect as it is.

On ANDHC I always skip At last and Nature boy. I love the fact that OH contains no boring covers (apart from IDAN, but this is a great energetic version and a huge highlight, since she really made it her own). The OH album (like ANDHC) takes you on a musical journey. I adore it!

Haha. I can't listen to OH. The whole thing makes me cringe.

On ANDHC I only listen to At last and Nature Boy. Hands down the best songs on there.

Go figure.

Out of all her albums, ANDHC was the biggest disappointment. I'm a relatively new fan, but I have been in love with ANDHC (the song) since forever. So I assumed the album would contain more songs like that. Unfortunately, I only like a handful of the songs and it's one of her least cohesive albums ever (and that's saying something). LMBTL has the same problem (it lacks direction after the first 5 tracks), but at least I like the songs better...

So many different opinions 😊

It has to be the most under appreciated album of her career and it’s on my top 3 English albums!

Please stick to the topic. This is NOT the one heart album topic. We come here for Carpool Karaoke news and get excited there is something new to see only to sift through pages about something irrelevant. Thanks :)

Ok...flood us with news about it then..something we don't know already...

Chill a bit we are talking about her songs and what we would like her to sing. We are not talking about politics in Beiruit...
