Celine's Brother Daniel Dion passed away at age 59

I was thinking about Maman Dion the whole time through all of this. My goodness, it's a lot for one family to go through. I hope she can stay strong and healthy for as long as possible.

The funeral is on Monday in the morning whereas a similar ceremony of the open casket takes place today

Yes, I think that's her natural hair. Although, really devastated she looks very beautiful.

She looks more like celine, still sad, but more Celine.

 

I know pics don't tell much, and behind those sunglasses there could still be the face of grief.

 

But somehow it makes me 'happy' to see her.

Watching pictures from yesterday they break my heart. So much hurt in her face, so sad...

That's so sad his funeral will be on RCs birthday.

 

Celine looks so much more at peace here, but inside I know her heart is shattered.

I think she's getting better over the recent events since the big hurdle is over... She'll be as back to normal as she can be eventually, but it'll take time.

I think you're right. One of the first things my Nan did when my Grandad passed away, was put his wedding ring on. It was so touching for us all to see. It was a reminder of their strong bond and love, whenever we saw it, and I'm sure it will be the same for Celine and her boys.

Céline we all know ... of course on friday everything was so strange because that event ... and Céline looks like it was not her, she was very elegant for sure but the dress code was too much / I think it´s very elegant to wear veil at the funeral and I like it but today even members of royal families didn´t wear so long veils / but I understand that also in this way she wanted to pay tribute to her husband. In contrast to friday she didn´ t wear all black yeasterday and I understand her, it was enough black on friday,

I hope you're right. I think it is beautiful. I noticed when she slipped it on in church that it looked like it fit her well.... surely Rene's hands are a lot bigger than hers so I think she had it resized. I love her so much.

It is a beautiful symbol. Keep in mind that Rene had lost quite a bit of weight over the last couple of years. If he continued to wear the ring it may have been resized once already.

Again, unless she had the coat tailored I don't think it was his. Céline is tiny (even with rene's recent weight loss) compared to him.... the coat wouldn't have fit him.
