I wanna cry especially with RC like how is that the same little boy from TTEOTW...amazing how much he's grown. He's not even my son and I feel so proud of him today

Me too!

RC, yes, he absolutely deserved that standing ovation.

I could tell that was what was happening just from the clapping.

What were the bells for?

Also, is this guy singing something in hebrew?

I think I may have heard the word Allah, so I'm guessing maybe something in Arabic, as Rene was an Arab... Not too sure though, just a shot in the dark.

I'm pretty sure, that Céline carries her engagement ring. That could mean, that her and René's wedding bands are on the little cushion lying on the coffin ...

Actually it's the Greek prayer in French. I've heard it enough times in my church in Greek to recognize it lol

If it's the same service I'm watching cause I know the streams are a bit different in timing but Rene was part of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church

it was arabic

RDI Canada said it was Greek so if they're wrong then I'm wrong but it sure sounded like our prayer and he even did the orthodox cross at the end

Perhaps it was half and half

Actually the program even mentions that there is a Greek catholic priest

Can this end now cause I can't ....like I don't do funerals. With Greeks the funeral and wake is open casket unless the body is in bad condition due to accident or illness. I'm glad the casket is closed today cause I can't it's bad enough with it closed don't start me if it was open. I had two glasses of wine last night tonight I'll need 3 or 4. It's only 12:48pm here and I'm a mess!

the casket is always closed in the church for the cermony...it is a good thing.
Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

I really appreciate that the majority of the ceremony has been in both French and English.

I'm pretty sure it's on the cushion which is lying on the casket - togehter with Renés wedding ring.

But I'm pretty sure too, that she is wearing her engagement ring.

I'm talking about when s.e mgr Ibrahim M. Ibrahim -eparque des grecs -melkites catholiques au canada spoke. If it is the same one then it sounded French to me but commentators were talking over him and all I meant was the prayer whatever language was duplicate to how the Greek prayer goes

the priest was talking about the love of our parents, about how our mother was saying that our life was beautiful, it is when she reached the hand of her mother

That makes sense. I guess it's just weird that she isn't wearing her engagement ring on her left hand.

Does someone know who's the man beside her mother? Is it one of Celine's other brothers? I don't recognize him ...
