And most importantly, remember this performance and event is not even about celine. It's about something far more important.

While Celine has gained unprecedented succes, Edith Piaf is the national treasure of France. It only makes sense they picked a song of hers and did not use Celine songs such as ''L'amour Existe Encore'' or ''S'il Suffisait D'aimer'' which definitely fit the occasion. As someone said, Celine is Canadian, and, to be precise, her status is more ''international'' than ''French''.
