celine4evauk Posted November 21, 2015 at 04:37 PM Posted November 21, 2015 at 04:37 PM This is the ONLY good news I've seen this week. I found out today that one of the students from our sister school in France lost both of his parents, grandmother, and a close family friend who were dining at one of the cafes that was targeted. Our hearts are broken. I must say, I am tired of people trying to deflect the attacks on Paris as if they are not important. They didn't beat the drum for these causes the day before but now suffer from being Social Media warriors. That seems to be the popular thing to do in the cowardly social media world we live in. Especially to those of us who have been touched. That's exactly why I don't take much notice of social media at times like these. I take more notice of how people talk and react to the news. And I must say, the UK has been brilliant. A minute's silence, the news channels, and the national football team etc. It was great to see Prince William with the coaches, David Cameron didn't shy away from the match. Our first match with armed security. And if anyone had said to me a couple of weeks ago that English fans would be singing the French national anthem I'd have said "you've got to be joking!" - I hope we all provided a little bit of comfort and support to those there and people watching.Actually after 7/7 I think anything like this affects us. 😔Once again Thank God for Celine Dion! My condolences to you x ❤ 3 Quote

celine4evauk Posted November 21, 2015 at 04:40 PM Posted November 21, 2015 at 04:40 PM I wished she saved that amazing dress from the Latin Grammy's and chose to wear it for the AMA's instead. The AMA's is a lot more publicized then the Latin Grammy's. I don't think I have ever seen Celine look better. The woman is 47 and she showed off that 20 year old looking body like know tomorrow. Celine has never really worn a dress like that before. Sure Celine dresses sexy from time to time, but she was wearing one of the biggest trends of last summer. Showing the top of the stomach. It's such a fresh, younger look from her. It was so unexpected. That is such a Gwyneth Paltrow dress. Gwyneth is always showing of the top of her stomach. I could even see Gwen Stefani or Jennifer Lopez wearing that dress. I was so happy to see Celine wearing something like this. It was such a nice change from her Vegas looks and Balmain short dresses. It was a breath of fresh air. I just wish she saved it for the AMA's. Why wear one of the best dresses of your live to an event that wasn't even publicized. Do you think anyone will notice if she wears the same dress again for the AMA's? LOL. She may have something even better to wear! Although I doubt it'll be too revealing etc. I'd have thought, given the nature of her performance, it'll be more on the conservative side, rather than the sexy side. She hopefully will have saved that for Mr Buble! 😉😆 2 Quote

I was thinking about her post 9/11 performance of L'Amour existe encore and how it would be awesome to hear something like this again and how she would feel the emotions in her own songs. Also how many of her songs would be fitting. However I agree with the others it's not promotion but they picked something the masses might know and let's face it many casual fans in the US probably don't know her repertoire like we do. 1 Quote

Popular Post stevo Posted November 21, 2015 at 06:29 PM Popular Post Posted November 21, 2015 at 06:29 PM Celine really is in a different league to anyone out there today. And I think she really is garnering a respect in the industry, from young and established artists. She is loved. And she can still sing - amazingly well- we know it, we've seen it from her new show. I hope she nails this- for Paris, to make the French speaking people proud, and for everyone to say 'wow'. She is CLASS. 22 Quote
