comingback Posted December 8, 2015 at 07:46 PM Posted December 8, 2015 at 07:46 PM (edited) Fashion notes This superb asymmetrical dress, worn during the Sinatra 100 tribute that aired this past Sunday, is an Atelier Versace vintage creation pulled from the Gianni Versace archives. It was designed for the last collection in his life time in the fall of 1997-1998.It is Annie Horth, Celine’s stylist and partner in style, who managed to get her hands on this rare find. She revealed that the celebrated designer was a fan of Celine and had even sent her a letter at one time. The Olgana Paris shoes and fine diamond jewelry by Graff put the finishing touches on this elegant look. browseceline Posted December 9, 2015 at 12:43 AM Posted December 9, 2015 at 12:43 AM I think i liked this more than the duet version. I did not like the cheesy flute and violin arrangement but it is for sure for Celine and Rene a very important song and that makes this a special emotional song to sing. And it shows. Hope everything goes well with Rene in these insecure times. Fortunately he has a loving wife that supports him no matter what! scielle Posted December 9, 2015 at 05:16 AM Posted December 9, 2015 at 05:16 AM You can also see Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf in that standing ovation shot at the end.Andre is a big Celine fan, right? Wasn't it he who introduced Barbra Streisand to Celine's music? On March 30, 2068, there might be some collective celebration of her 100th birthday too. Like Sinatra, she brings fans to town just to see her, and she arrived just in time to help Las Vegas through the Iraq War.If you go by head count, Dion may even surpass the number of customers Sinatra sang to in Vegas, since she is on her way to 1,000 shows in a 4,200-seat theater, not a 400-seat showroom. But she did not crash into a place where "the hotel owners were all walking around in cowboy hats," as Lorraine Bono-Hunt once described the old days here, with "mohair tuxes (and) black satin shoes. That look was so cool."Even if you pay $250 to see Celine, you probably don't imagine closing the place down with her." 1 Quote

GoldenLeaf Posted December 12, 2015 at 01:01 AM Posted December 12, 2015 at 01:01 AM (edited) Celine's solo performance of ''All The Way'' was phenomenal. The only reason why the final note sounded slightly hoarse was because she was holding back her tears. I would love more solo versions of her duets. Definitely.Same here!
