Seeing that white outfit in HD is amazing. It so works on her and it complements her well. I like it better then the "penguin" outfit for sure!

 

Seeing her in HD is great but, just like during the livestream from Paris, there is something wrong with the sound. There is no depth... It's hard to explain but even on the red heads video Celine's voice sounds better.

can't agree with you here. The Paris Live Stream's sound was really awful, but we may forgive it because it was their first try. On CTV the sound is much better and I don't even dare to compare it to ammateur livestreams myself

Can someone Rip the ctv streamed performances off the website and upload to youtube, upload to here, etc...who knows how long they'll stay up there for. Je crois toi is sounding superb. Much better than paris performance. Qpvsa now...

"A la plus haute branche" sounds interesting and like nothing she's ever done before. Looking forward to the studio version.

 

I watched roughly 40 minutes of the concert live through the RH facebook and I can't understand how can people not even stand up or clap or move their arms during uptempo songs. Some 100,000 people may have bought 1F&4T in Québec. What a cold reaction to Le vol d'un ange, Valse adieu, they only did some noise when Barnev sang on Apprends-moi. There may have been some 16,000 people there, being Montreal and the first night, half of them should have been dedicated fans. I understand if people don't want to sing along for the whole concert, after all, they go there to listen to the artist, not the audience... but at least be more active, show some emotion!

 

I expected a few more songs from Plamondon since he was in the audience.

 

I have to say "Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour" is among my least favourite tracks of her repertoire. I hope she sang it only because Jean Pierre Ferland was there. So boring that I can't believe Veneruso was involved in the production! Since there's an orchestra onstage, she should replace it with "Et s'il n'en restait qu'une".

you know that people here in québec are different from people from France, USA or your country. ? Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour is a very Québécoise song, that's why it wasn't on the setlist in France. Jean-Pierre Ferland in one of our best author, very respected, and very modern even if he is old. And people in Québec like to listen , it was not Rhianna on stage, people go to hear the voice, it is a form of respect.

Hahahaa how funny it is when certain people thought that she lost at the end of RDMH... Dont you know the meanig of adlibs? Change the way of singing?? That brings a fresh notes to the repeated 10000000000x times singing of a song...

the sound itself isn't that bad. But it's in mono (just one speaker playing) which makes it hard to appreciate the videos. Has anybody found any stereo videos? If I could get ahold of the videos somehow I could try to make the audio stereo.

I already have them downloaded on my PC. I wanted to make a full-show compilation once again as I did with previous concerts, but I don't seem to have enough good material. I will upload the vids tomorrow

If you have any music production software I would be more than happy to explain but if you don't I'm not sure if it's doable. There are a number of so-called 'plugins' or else "tools" that you use to basically create a mirror of one channel of the sound and port it to the other. So what you get in the end is not the same as if the sound was recorded in stereo but it's definitely better than hearing only one channel as is the case in mono.

So you really think 'they' have no commercial whatsoever putting Celine in the spotlight? Do you have any notion of the money that is concerned with this concert series? Of course they want to outsell all concerts, besides promoting the album of course.
