We all should NOT buy any tickets, not even in presale!!

It is absolutely ridiculous that we the real fans who follow her to even freaking Las Vegas, who wait outside her hotel who support her in every f****** way for more than 20 years or more get this...

Her tour and album is a gift from her to us... well if its gonna cost me loads of money just to get a decent seat they all can give that gift to someone else.

I understand that there is money involved and that people need to get paid.

But this is absolutely offensive...

She ows me really nothing, but at least ask some normal prices for seats. And treat the fans with amazing seats front row. That's a gift...

Or if u ask like 500 dollar/euro at least get a meet&greet in that package.

But no only the rich&famous high rollers are able to meet her...

I am so pissed off...

The worst part is that the general sale will go on because some people won't care about these expensive seats and just buy the last rows.. but seriously there should be a protest. First $500 for Vegas front row, now this. I don't know but not every Celine fan is rich. Edited by anewdayhascome

I saw that as well for Montreal seats, Not going to do it, Ive already did it once in LV , not this time around,

So, if i understand correctly, first rows should be for real fans? is there a way to know who are theses fans, a test...should they be able to recitate evrey word of her songs ? speak french? name her brothers and sisters? Sorry , but money talks today. i'm not in the first row, but i got not so bad tickets, such a shame that i won't be seen as a real fan by some. Some real fan have no money to go see the show, it happened to me in the past, some are ill etc.. some people should get over themselves. We live in a capitalist system.

She said it was a gift for herself. And the show is supposed to be better than the last french one. No complain from me .

I agree with you most of the time, but not this time. Real fans are people who try their damn best to get good seats! If what ever price range that might be! Trying to participate in any possible pre sale, main sale, yard sale! Who set their alarms to set everything up. Who push back everything to be able t buy tickets. Who have sweaty palms and a racing heart beat clicking on the links! Who is dying to see his or her favourite singer again!

Not some fat business guy who says to his secretary: "sure tell them I'll take these VIP tickets that other company want to bribe me with." And who arrives 20 minutes into the show because his wife didn't know if she would wear a chanel jacket or a prada scarf. And leave right after RDMH to get out of the car park first! :glare:

I'm all for earning money, but this is just taking the piss with her loyal fans! And I am sure Celine doesn't make a penny more on these VIP packages. Only the tour operator and venues do :ranting:

1 more thing. VIP people should be in skyboxes. Not in front rows IMO!

I though you were smart enough to understand what I've meant with real fans.

But considering you took the 'real fans part' personally I guess not...

But to explain the 'real fan' just to be sure you wont think that people wont see you as a real fan...

Real fans - us who have a passion for celine

Not real fans - the ones who pay 1000 dollars and really dont give a damn what that woman does onstage...

I dont think I need to explain that, but I give you an example: vegas, texting, front row, sleeping...

That's what I mean with real fans.

So, if i understand correctly, first rows should be for real fans? is there a way to know who are theses fans, a test...should they be able to recitate evrey word of her songs ? speak french? name her brothers and sisters? Guys, this thing with the prices looks really upsetting and I feel a bit sad. I mean, yes, $ rules the world and everything, I understand, but... They've created that image of a humble Diva and they've been sustaining that image for DECADES for God's sake and then these prices... It looks bad, really bad, like a slap on the face. I'm sorry to say that, I am really. For nearly 35 years you were supposed to act like from rags to richies and everything and we turn plates upside down and eat from both sides and blah-blah-blah and we were poor and everything and then what? THAT? I mean, I know everybody needs a salary and everything but these prices are ENORMOUS, I'm sorry and no offence.

Am I the only die hard fan that hasn't waited in front of her hotel? I figure I just saw her at the concert and am grateful that she still performs. Some of you want so much from her. She doesn't owe her fans a damn thing. Edited by Alex_Incognito

London show? Please????

2008 was a long time ago you know!

Can't see it happening though

If an English album is scheduled for 2017, I wouldn't be surprised if she waited to do a similar mini-tour of the U.K. and maybe try and renegotiate her contract to allow her to do some shows in major US markets - NY, California, etc.

You are absolutely right, she does not owe fans anything.... But if the opportunity is there to see her at her hotel when in a particular city, fans have the opportunity and right to wait in a "public place" for the chance to see her, just like fans now do after her show in Vegas, when her car leaves the colosseum and enters a public place... But again if that's not for certain fans, then that is fine also.

Life is all about chances, it's up to you to take it or leave it, and if Celine is up for it then what's the problem ;)

It looks to me like Britney Spears' "Everytime" video. The difference between obsession and idolization.

Can you imagine how often she'd like to go home just in peace and quiet?

I never have either. Even when she was in London '08 and i knew which hotel etc i still didn't go there. Could have - but didn't. There are still a few of us about! LOL

As for the ticket prices - yes they are steep. But the way i see it is, if you don't want to pay - don't go. If you want to go, then pay the top price that you personally are willing to pay.

I do wish though that Aldo and co would save x amount of tickets (LV) for fans - ie 1st/2nd row. Even if it was only on a couple of nights per week. And for arena shows they would save x amount of rows - the first 10/20 etc. And be sold via TC like they used to be. Hopefully something like this will be sorted in the future. Maybe it was because everything was on sale almost immediately??

they charge it maybe because she is charging a lot, i don't know...it's ok to not think the same about everything, i 'm just happy she comes,, i'm easy to please..Money rules the world.

I guess i can be satisfied as much as the people who paid the total to be first row, Just the attitude. Celine is a diva, at this point , she has to charge a lot like the others, standing issue i guess. I understan the point, but having anger about it won't solve the problem.

If the first 20 rows are part of very expensive VIP packages in Montreal, then rush for the 21st row! :-D

It's not that far, is it?

my answer was maybe a tad much, so i'm sorry. But i find it frustrating that fans are pissed at her when you think what she goes through at the moment. So , yes i'm sorry. May be i'm not smart but i know when i've been wrong, it is almost as good. :)

Did anyone else saw the statement of the RH that the first 20 rows in Canada are reserved for "VIP" packages?! :jawdrop:

I had noticed when I bought my ticket the front section of the floor was not available, so I wondered if it was for packages.

I've never waited for her at a hotel either. In 2013 when I was in Quebec City, I did go to Chateau Frontenac to see what it looked like inside. I walked in looked around the lobby and then continued on my way and took a horse and carriage tour of the city.

Also it's not like she sits in a room and says this is what's going to cost for these rows and those over there. I like you am happy that she's doing a show and while I may not be front row, I am happy with my ticket in the lower bowl. I saw her front row in Montreal for the TC tour and while it was an experience to remember I don't need to repeat it.

I've never waited for her at a hotel either .. but I did the same thing in Quebec City! I was there this summer and wanted to see Le Chateau Frontenac b/c I knew Celine had stayed there. I took a bunch of pictures by the revolving doors like the ones she comes out of in the Sur Le Plaines DVD. It was a little crazy.

I've seen her 4 times but never been in front row. Celine is such an amazing performer that it doesn't matter. On the LTAL tour, I was in super-high seats, a million miles away from the stage, and it remains unsurpassed as the best concert experience I ever had.

So they "quietly" added 2 more dates to Montreal and tickets were available for sale. I must say the communication from her team is lacking! There was no announcement on their site or social media channels.

The LV contract precludes her from playing shows elsewhere in the US? Hm, didn't know that. If so, that's a bummer.

I think what Quebecflower meant was that not all of Celine's loyal fans have the means to even make the attempt at paying that type of money for a concert ticket...no matter what they do. Everyone has circumstances, some better than others. But money doesn't measure the love and admiration that we all have for Celine. We can all love her just the same in Section Q, Row Z, as someone who made the choice to spend tons of money to sit in the first few rows. I've spent a lot of money seeing Celine...and I plan on going to see her in the Spring. But my admiration and love for her and her music is not going to be overshadowed by the fact that I simply can't afford to spend $500 on a seat...for what? To say that I was that close?

I understand that completely. Look, I am planning to buy the cheapest ticket for the second night in Antwerpen. I'll be up very high, but I don't care cos I just love being at the concert and I know I will have a great time!

BUT when I do buy tickets top price through a FAN presale, then I do expect to get the best tickets in the house! And that's IMO not row 21! Or as most fans experienced, way in the back!

Owh serious...

Giving me the 'do you know what she is going through'

I really know what she is going through, and if she decides to travel the world who knows he is getting better as far as that is possible.

And where did I say that I'm ffing mad and angry at Celine?!

If you don't took the message personal as an attack on celine or your own fan being,

You would have a seen that I'm just a fan who is pissed at the prices, pissed at the way her team is handling a presale, and pissed that I cant be close enough.

And save me your blabla that you dont care where you sit, as long as you are in the same building. That's just pretending you're a saint celine fan.

I've seen her many times, front row and way back in the stadion. Not only her but lot's of other artist.

Fact is, the closer, the better, vibe, music, image, enthusiasm, etc
