Yeah I hope so too! But I think that celine will have the wig on in most of the footage - except for if she's arriving at a venue (in the car etc) when she will be sporting the little ol' bun!

I have to admit when I started to read about the wig I was a bit surprised but it totally made sense--- it's a really smart idea and it was perfectly styled with the occasional awkward part but now I'm catching myself off guard looking for the wig whenever I see a tour pic... but c'mon Céline show us your real hair.. we're sick of "the bun"!!!!!!!!!

I bet her wig was in the thousands. Regular real hair wigs from the internet are around $500-$750 depending on length and knowing Celine, hers will be the best of the best made from the hair unicorns and angels. Maybe something like Mandeville of London's, theirs start from around $6000.

OMG! Here I have been trying to make my hair as big as hers and it was impossible! hahahahaha I had my suspicions that it was a hair piece on tour, because she soundchecked waaay too late before the show in Nash. to get that head curled to perfection. I mean, I spent 2 hours on my hair and it was nowhere near that voluminous lol. I even told my friends how I think after looking through the photographs how her hair gets BIGGER over the course of the night. Ha! I knew it! I've said before I can only aspire to make my hair that big. Now I don't feel like such a hair failure bwahaha!

 

My favorite is when it's in a bun though. I wear mine like that all the time. I don't blame her. The makeup and big poofy hair is amazingly fun but you just want it out of the way and natural when you're doing everything else. She looked so different when her hair was in a bun when we met her. So very cute, so thin! Because her hair was pulled back, and not "stage" hair, it surprised me a bit, and she just looked so very tall and thin in the face, but she was so beautiful with her brown eyes (well they looked brown that day) and freckles! Love the bun, love the poof, love Céline

this is the one you can 'see' in the picture from Sur Le Plaines, but then with longer hair of course...

this also explains why she has a lot of hair for this tour, because for the AND dvd she only has hairextensions, wich you can see when she is drying her hair.

hairextensions makes your hair longer and a bit thicker.

but the hairpiece gives it more volume and is a lot thicker then a lot of extensions.

i like both of them, but i think for the AND dvd her hair looks more natural.

i still think she has extensions in,but not that many, otherwise we had seen something in the HQ pics of celine wearing a bun... because most of the times when somebody has a lot of extensions in, and pulled it all back you can see the glued parts.

She's so funny in that video....I wonder if its the same wig as she wore for the sensational video shoot because I remember seeing it on the wig stand in her dressing room in the video - (as she just walks in the room from being outside) it's all wavy like the one in S'il ne restrait qu'une!

It must cut so much time by Celine wearing a wig as it can be ready for her all curled and then on it goes! Must get SOOO hot though....basically like wearing a hat! She's lucky she doesnt sweat tooooo much.

good work, guys! I always knew she wore one, but never could find that Sensational Video footage to prove it. She's been wearing a half wig for quite some time, just as lots of you have pointed out. She had been wearing extensions for so long that her natural hair just kinda gave up. The photos of her sporting the bun kinda show just how thin her hair has become. So to all you out there thinking about extensions... they're only meant to be a short term type thing, and not to be used for as long as Celine did. Sure, she had them changed and re-sewn in a lot, but that even made matters worse.

 

Half wigs like the one Celine's been sporting are awesome, especially if you're looking for a quick fix for a night out on the town... they can be rather affordable. A lot of big beauty supply stores, hair care stores and fashion districts have hair/wig stores. You can buy a wig of decent quality for under $100. It will be of good enough quality to use for nights out, dates, etc. If you're looking for something to wear everyday, the quality will have to be better, so the price will go up. Have fun!

The wig has a bunch of little combs lining the edges, and elastic straps that are tightened around the crown of a persons head. Add any further personal touches to it, and you're set. If you want to get a feel for what it's like, wrap an ace bandage [or athletic bandage] around your head, pull it nice n snug and you'll get a feel for how tight they stick to you. LOL.
