Tonight, me and Sarah were looking at a few tour pictures and realised that Celine is wearing a half wig for the tour! We have basically looked at everything possible, and that seems to be the case...Celine has pulled the front parts of her hair forward to make it more realistic then having the wig on halfway through her parting. Then curling it all to blend together.I think it is for length and fullness, and the fact that it is easy to take our once the show is over. It is hard to explain, but once you see the pictures you will notice it too... http://www.celineirc.com/free/images/quebec4002008082228.jpg If you look at this picture, you see that Celines own parting starts as you can see roots coming through. Then you can see the wig carrying on the parting (if that makes any sense). You can also see Celines front root bits, with the rest of the parting being all one coloured. I have been wondering how Celine had been doing her hair for the tour, and why she kept clipping the bun on. Our conclusion is that Celine definitely has a half wig on, with a clip on bun when she was out and about. In my opinion, it was styled really well. I wouldn't have noticed if we hadn't had looked at HQ photos. We have too much time on our hands Sarah! We were discussing it as we left the arena and we all decided it wasn't regular extensions like she's used in the past. I think another giveaway is the fact extensions can look quite "bitty" as in the seperate into strands, her hair looked like this a lot in 2004-2005 with lots of strandy bits allover the place. Extensions can look quite messy. But this is a really high quality wig and so stays together beautifully, it'll be human hair and no doubt costs an absolute fortune. Quote

Regular real hair wigs from the internet are around $500-$750 depending on length and knowing Celine, hers will be the best of the best made from the hair unicorns and angels. I had thought Celine just had a LOT of extentions throughout the tour - maybe clips in or glued/sewn and had them refreshed every now and then but after looking at the HQ Pics as Vintageceline said....the half wig is noticeable when you see Celine's parting/roots. I must say it's something you can barely notice until it's pointed out because to look at the pics of Celine you would just think she has a load of extentions! But once you know you can see the wig out in other occasions hehe. Eg - In this photo you can see the lighter strands at the front and then the wig is actually much darker than Celine's hair at the front - but it's sooo well done!!!
