Wow! This came out of the blue. I am thinking that there is a backup plan/ succession plan in the event things like this happen. Just have to wait and see who fills his shoes.

Oh dear, I wonder why he resigned. Too much pressure, or maybe financial matters?

 

There are so many projects on the way and he just resigned. What will happen now? Who will be the new manager? He was really good and had some great ideas. He brought Celines career back on track and it went in the perfect direction. I hope that her career continues like this and doesn't take a back turn.

I think René always had a backup plan, they might have someone in mind.. Its just so suddenly, out of the blue.. Everything seemed to be fine

It didn't seems planned at all! They could "easily" do that while she was on break! Not as soon as she comes back

Something might have happened to "their relationship" as manager/singer or to his health

These are the first thoughts in my mind

This worries me a bit because Celine has a tour scheduled for next summer, it's a lot to manage, to organize, many decisions.

Aldo was good, he had good ideas, and he was confident that was the most important factor, in show business have to have confidence.

I think an artist of her status and huge success and popularity being signed to a management agency at this point/stage in her career is not a good sign.

 

If she does agree to do this, I can see her getting fed up and retiring earlier than expected or being worked to death by heavy schedules and contracts doing things that she really doesnt want to do in terms of her career.

Céline has a huge team behind her. Not just Aldo. I think Céline has been in charge a lot more than we know. Maybe Aldo has been the one to look through contracts and legal issues but Céline is the one that makes the call.

Miss Rene, with him we never worried about her. You know getting taken advantage of, being worked to death etc. I have no doubt she has taken on more and more of her own management though. Will be interesting to see where this all leads...
