powerofamor17 Posted September 26, 2015 at 03:10 AM Posted September 26, 2015 at 03:10 AM Please! No more Goldman. SomethIng fresh.Goldman is magic for Celine. Sans attendre was, hmm, I wouldn't say fresh except for a few tracks, but it was new, different, captivating in a way. Although her voice was fantastic, it was quite BORING. Goldman is very versatile on every project he has for Celine. But please do not include him on the tracks.... 3 Quote
scielle Posted September 26, 2015 at 03:31 AM Posted September 26, 2015 at 03:31 AM I absolutely loved Sans Attendre. It's what brought me back. I haven't really listened to Celine since the early 2000's until I heard that album. Qui peut vivre sans amour is a bit much, but every other track on that record I thought was rather great. 4 Quote
Popular Post chocolatechip15 Posted September 26, 2015 at 03:42 AM Popular Post Posted September 26, 2015 at 03:42 AM I agree that JJG is magic -- his lyrics are poetry, his music expresses the emotion of the songs perfectly, and the songs are "made to measure" for Celine. I loved Sans Attendre, too -- personal, genuine, and beautiful -- but there's nothing like JJG. 10 Quote
Angel2006 Posted September 26, 2015 at 06:03 AM Posted September 26, 2015 at 06:03 AM I am excited at the possibility of JJG working with Celine again, but the bar is set so much higher for him this time around, given the huge success he has brought to Celine French musical career already. People expect huge hits from him. That's alot of pressure. Hopefully he can deliver magic songs once again. That being said. Even if he does not create a hit for Celine again, there is a level of perfection that goes into his work that I am excited to hear come out again in Celine's voice. Certain people bring that extra level of magic out in Celine's music and JJG in one of those people, along with David Foster! David works magic for the English albums and JJG works his magic for the French side of her career! Both are amazing! I can't wait to see what comes of this news about JJG. I really hope it's true. 2 Quote
Frozen_Phoenix Posted September 26, 2015 at 06:06 AM Posted September 26, 2015 at 06:06 AM (edited) I wonder what they did in order to drag him out of his retirement... And yes, Sans Attendre was boring. There were a few highlights but D'Elles was far superior. Angel2006 Posted September 26, 2015 at 06:15 AM Posted September 26, 2015 at 06:15 AM Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought JJG said that he didn't want to work with Celine again because she was to big of a star now or something and it would put to much pressure on him to create another hit song? I thought I remembered reading an article where he says that he doesn't have any more inspiration to work with Celine, that he's written all he can write for her and there's nothing left or something like that? I guess he got inspired again. 1 Quote
Popular Post LukeD Posted September 26, 2015 at 08:42 AM Popular Post Posted September 26, 2015 at 08:42 AM (edited) Sans Attendre is a masterpiece, one of the most coherent albums of her entire career. We'll be lucky to get an album just as good. And JJG guarantees good songs!.. Edited September 26, 2015 at 08:42 AM by LukeD 16 Quote

There were a few highlights but D'Elles was far superior.I agree. But I can listen to all of Sans Attendre. Delles, I just can't with some of those songs. But her voice is brilliant and delightful on both. Although I think her concept in Sans Attendre was alot more thought through and sufficient, Delles takes the edge with her vocal delivery. Also the song selections are a bit more admirable on Delles. Quote

contre5nature Posted September 26, 2015 at 01:13 PM Posted September 26, 2015 at 01:13 PM (edited) I'm very happy that Zaho writes a song for the new album! I didn't know about this singer before, I listened few songs on youtube and I like her! I think she can bring some new sounds in Celine's repertoire! Now I'm excited to listen the song she writes for her! I hope she writes something like "Tourner la page", I love the chorus (it starts at 1.16) and I love it more at 2.58 with the beats!! Yes, I'm happy about the choice! Good feelings for this new album! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZz8r8ZE93I Edited September 26, 2015 at 01:19 PM by sunshania 2 Quote

Although I did like some songs from sans attendre my favorite being que toi su monde but overall I did feel it was kind of Boring. I'm very excited about this album because I LOVE Celine in French 1 Quote [url=http://s1383.photobucket

chocolatechip15 Posted September 27, 2015 at 03:36 PM Posted September 27, 2015 at 03:36 PM Speaking of JJG - here's a video with info about making of D'Eux with English subtitles! Also has a bit of JJG with Celine singing Puisque Tu Pars, the original French version of LTAL. They switched over to English before Celine started singing, which is a shame, because the French version sounded a lot more interesting and less schmaltzy than LTAL (I say this, loving LTAL ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsxB_IqmLvI 3 Quote
scielle Posted September 27, 2015 at 04:01 PM Posted September 27, 2015 at 04:01 PM Oh, Puisque tu pars is soooo much better. LTAL lyrics are schmaltz; that chorus always makes me cringe! Not a fan. 4 Quote
