With this clip, Unison now becomes her only album where she was able to have live performances for all songs. 😁👍👍👍👍

This is my favorite Celine music video. People still love this song after all these years. It was a genius move to work with Max Martin.

 

 

The YouTube comments are full of people saying how this song pulled them out of a dark place and gave them hope.

It's interesting. She is explaining a super old music video for no reason :D I like that idea, something I would love to see from Celine, elaborating on a certain project, shooting a video, recording a song, that's what I would love to see from her. E.g. I would like to hear EVERYTHING about her recording I'm Alive and shooting the music video. I want to see all the behind the scenes footage for that video, the way it was montaged, and really everything. It was her come back single and I listened to that song day and night in 2002 :D

Thrilled to see a longer clip of Céline, at age 15, recording « Du soleil au cœur » in the studio. This song always gives me the feels.

It’s crazy how she went from rough around the edges with Unison, a hot bombshell in 1992 and half of ‘93 to looking like a 40 something year old women 93-95. Whomever did Celine’s glow up for the self titled second album, should’ve stayed with her lol

When her hair was first cut, it definitely made her look more mature/older. Which was a shame because she was styled so well and looked stunning in 1992. But the shorter hair started to work well and looked better by 95.

But I get why they cut her hair. They wanted to keep changing her image and reinventing her look as she climbed the ladder of success. And it worked! She had her first big #1 hit in the US after the haircut. And people finally started to put a face and name to her voice.

I always thought they wanted to physically age her and all of a sudden cover her up was because of the public declaration of Céline and René

OMFG!!! This is so beautiful and realistic I actually cried while listening to this, it sounds like a song belonging to the ANDHC album. :heart:
