That's weird, it works for me. Anyone else having the problem? Anyway, if you can find the interview portion of her 1995 appearance on Taratata (which I think is also on their website), it's her being interviewed for five minutes or so. It's before she sings "Le Monde est Stone" and after "Knock on Wood"

Interview of Eliot Kennedy, the guy who wrote the lyrics of LTAL (and AYHGB). Interesting things he said about LTAL I'm hearing for the first time:

 

- Celine didn't like the original lyrics written by JJG, so they looked for other people to write new lyrics

- Bryan Adams initially didn't want to be part of the song

- Eliot asked Bryan to do a demo of the song

- He also talked a little about how they ended up writing another song for Celine (AYHGB)

No. JJG’s lyrics are in French. It’s a song called “Puisque tu pars”.

 

The best is yet to come...

It really is something special.

 

Over the years I have no idea how many times I heard it and I find myself keep coming back to it.

It just those songs that take my soul into a journy, there I felt her pain and how much she dreamt of being a singer

but also an actress. I have special connection with this song I guess. :wub:

It's one of the handful times I felt Celine was really owning her diva-dom and feeling herself and doing a larger than life persona like.... "Yeah, I know I'm good"

If you watched the video of Eliot Kennedy, he says there that he and Bryan Adams wrote the English lyrics because Celine didn't like JJG's original French lyrics. JJG is listed as co-writer because he wrote the music, while Adams and Kennedy wrote the lyrics.

What we see with this performance is an art of the very high level, she is acting the song, and bring this passion

I never heard from any female singer out there. These small nuances and improvisions are pure genius. I know Celine still got it, she always had.

 

I'm dying on the floor if I will be able to hear this one live. I don't mind she will lower the key for saving her voice

I know it will be blowminding :)

One of her best performances ever (that was filmed, at least). DIVA at the height of her power.

 

That performance should get a separted thread lol I'm obessed with it.

Each time I will find something wonderful that is worth to mention

about it.

I wish we will get this performance in better quality... one day and OH I LOVE HER OUTFIT
