Could it just be the technology back then? Yeah I know. There's a few interviews from the past where she sounds incredible. Like you almost couldn't tell that English wasn't her first language. She had a different way of speaking there. It's much more on the lighter side. Today, she speaks with her whole throat and it's a much more of a heavy sound, if that makes sense. I'm so curious why that changed. She could probably still speak the way she used to if she actually wanted to. I get that she speaks French at home, but she lives in America and she's involved with a lot of people who speak English. I agree. In the Jonathan Ross video, she's able to keep up with how fast Jonathan speaks. I don't think she would be today. It's like night and day compared to how she is now. Sidenote. She looks really good there. And in An Audience With Celine clip she talks about the way her sons mispronounce words and she writes that down. She's obviously talking about French words, but that's just ironic now. No one expects her to speak perfect English, but a little more effort would be nice.
