chocolatechip15 Posted July 1, 2014 at 05:33 PM Posted July 1, 2014 at 05:33 PM So, we didn't like Terry and we don't like Barnev... did we ever like any male singer Celine has ever had? Haha, I was thinking the same thing - Celine fans sure don't like her male backup singers! Quote

smash Posted July 2, 2014 at 08:07 AM Posted July 2, 2014 at 08:07 AM She looked stunning here tooI know, i wish she would go back to that kind of look. It is such a soft beautiful look, it would suite her so much more now. For me, it is the prettiest look for her, very very beautiful. The way Celine looked in the "In Some Small Way" on Jay Leno show, is also stunning but this look with JJG is a much softer look. Both are gorgeous, but prefer the softer look if i really had to choose, the other second. Wish we could get these two looks through to her team or whoever, maybe they would sort of think about it Sharon 1 Quote
Angel2006 Posted July 2, 2014 at 05:55 PM Posted July 2, 2014 at 05:55 PM I love her look right now. Perfection! Celine is a tan, sexy mamma with the most beautiful hair colour right now. I think her look and fashion is at an all time high. The black low neckline dress that Celine recently wore, along with that gorgeous tan. Amazing! Quote

To be honest i think NMQP isn't something that should've been replaced cuz Celine's is SO GOOD at singing NMQP but it's their choice and i'm glad they think changes much be done once in a while 1 Quote Love comes to those who believe it...

Yeah, i also had this thought. Although SSDA is not the easiest song to sing either... Like many other fans i wish she would sing songs she never gave much attention sometimes. Yes - such a beautiful melody, beautiful images - sung with such emotion, and each word treated with such care by Celine. And I like it, too, because it's a little different, a little more realistic than some of the messages in her songs. . . it's not the like the (mostly English) songs where she belts out that love is stronger than everything (and can move mountains, or whatever) . . . it's this wistful acknowledgment that love isn't always enough, but you can still hope that it would be. JJG's melody and words, and Celine's voice, express that feeling so perfectly. Their work together really is such a masterpiece. 2 Quote

sfbaysinger Posted July 4, 2014 at 05:58 PM Posted July 4, 2014 at 05:58 PM LOL at the comment about us not loking her male vocalists. I've liked all of her French/Francophone ones. LOL SSDA and NMQP are both amazing songs, I'd be okay either way but I do think Ne Me Quitte Pas is a bit harder to sing though I can see peoples' point too with SSDA. I love how in Une Seule Fois and in Paris, when she started singing SSDA, they wouldn't let her start. Quote L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine! L'amour existe encore pour elle!

Boy Posted July 4, 2014 at 07:24 PM Posted July 4, 2014 at 07:24 PM I love Le Vole D'une Ange, by the way. Is it possible to DISlike the song?.. Hardly ever for me! I fell in love with the song back in autumn of 2003 and every time i hear the first notes, first lines, still sounds new and fresh to me, i do think it's one of the best songs of her entire french career, seriously 1 Quote Love comes to those who believe it...
sfbaysinger Posted July 5, 2014 at 04:23 AM Posted July 5, 2014 at 04:23 AM She has too many for me to say that, but, I do love it and will say that I think it's one of her more under rated French songs, and, dare I say, more under-rated albums that one. Also, I forgot to say this last time, but thanks to the person who posted a snippet of the very first original recording of her first song. There are nuances in her voice back then that I/we can still hear now. The blossoming/beginning of her sound was there, and boy has it exploded like the fireworks going on around me now as it's still July 4 here in California. 1 Quote L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine!
