I need to clear up some things!

 

The YouTube account named CelineDionG r e e c e is FINE. It is pretty old and contains rare, original material. The guy singing at the end is a friend of mine.

 

The YouTube account named CelineDionGR (There are many alts and they go like CelineDionGR1, CelineDionGR2 ...) are the notorious channels who steal info!

I think it's great we got answers and everything not like she owed anyone an explanation because as fans we knew why.

As much as I would love to see more of Celine , I do hope she takes her time coming back and isn't made to go through the details on every talk show etc! Maybe closer to the premier a few interviews etc but I still think she needs the time to prepare and get emotionally ready to come back so she feels on top form on that first night back!

She's obviously suffering, but as a Palliative Nurse I can say that they also accepted what they're going through. And although it seems like a made up phrase, what she said about living "one day at a time" and focusing on themselves as a family and the love they feel it's the best thing that they can do right now.

 

They chose to focus on the positive aspects of their life and make the most of it, and that's kind of wonderful, isn't it?

 

And for René, I'll remain a realistic optimist and hope that he feels loved and without any troubling symptoms.

 

As for the fans, keep up with the positive energic vibe... they can feel it and know that we are with them.

celine is a world icon, yet a human, and a beautiful one at that. Rene looks so fail and celine is suffering. We must all pray for her, him and their wonderful children. Few celebrities let alone mega stars keep a normal family like, celine proves it is possible to remain successful beyond our dreams and stay grounded. I remember that back in 2008 Celine stated in an interview with Denise Bombardier that she considers herself smart...! I liked the way she expressed herself and the 'seriousness' of the whole interview but I realized it would only be watched by French people. And that the 'Anglophone public' would still be unaware of this part of Celine's personality! They are used to a different Celine, especially when it comes to interviews.

 

Now... what I think after watching this GMA clip is that Celine is a very smart woman indeed who happens to have her s*** together! The mature way in which she handled her kids relationship with their sick father proved this to me. I couldn't help but make comparisons with other celebrities, even of her age or older, who have never shown that level of maturity. It is a rare thing to witness a celebrity who has so many damn right things to say! I'm happy the anglophone public had a chance to witness this part of Celine. It was, in my opinion, the most genuine Celine we have ever seen in an interview...

This interview should be longer! I hope they didn't cut 15 minutes like that 2013 interview! However it's honest, raw and very different. I think that at the end of interview (when she walks with Rene) she could either burst into tears, lose conciousness, or simply walk away with Rene to home like a diva!

I think people seem to forget that she likes to sing and she does it for herself too. I want René to get better but she still has to continue her life. And it seems she wants to continue Las Vegas regardless of what René says. She is a strong woman and I respect her and René very much. Her current manager is doing a good job too. I have a feeling she kept her feelings to herself very much and I'm sure she feels a relief by sharing them with the world. Because she says that's who she is, she likes it that way. I've always thought they recorded more than we know about. All footage released looks very high quality and professional. I guess we'll see what happens.

It looks really good. Some people were complaining about the no flying cameras, but I think the footage is amazing! And yes, I agree. They had to have to have recorded more!

Yeah. I don't think the absence of flying cameras means they couldn't have a professional product from other angles. It does add something at times. But I also think the layout of the Colosseum would allow for cameras mounted higher up in the theatre for different angles etc. Whereas a venue like the plains of Abraham may not: thus flying cameras.

That is so true. I could so imagine cameras on the wall, behind lights or something, to get unique vantage points.

I admire the whole thing. They didn't have to tell us anything. I think that they are making the right choice by going back on stage. Like that, they are living for as long as possible (it's horrible to say but it's the case). Like that, everyone will be happy. René loves seeing her sing. It's probably better for her also to get out of the house, do something else for a couple of hours... I am very impressed. Céline is the best.
