Wow! I feel so overwhelmed! Love is overflowing for Celine. So much love for her by her peers in the industry!

I'm excited if it's true! I hope it's not just a teaser. The morning shows only have so much time they can allow. If Nightline features it and they give it 5, 10, or even 15 minutes (I doubt it will be that much, but y'all get the point) I think we'll get a lot more.

So much love is in the air for Celine and Rene.

Such a hard video to watch; you can feel Celine's pain through the camera -- but also the power and depth of her love, her strength, her caring. And to see Celine and Rene still walking together, hand-in-hand, and the pictures of Rene with RC and the twins . .so incredibly touching.

 

That's true love, what we're seeing . not "je me changerai en or, pour que tu m'aimes encore" (I'd turn myself into gold so that you'd still love me) -- but this, truly standing by your husband in sickness and in health.

 

And what a great video from the Talk. Such lovely comments from Josh, and what the others said was so true, too. I think Celine going back onstage is a gift for both of them . . .from her to him, because he wants to see her sing again, and from him to her, too, because he wants her to do other things she enjoys; not be consumed by caring for him. And what the last person said is true as well -- Celine is an inspiration to caregivers everywhere.

 

I hope Celine and Rene can feel all the love out there for them.

Yeah, there were a lot of good non-fan comments today. My favorite is: "Yeah, it's an unconventional love story, but a genuine one, so gonna pass on judging." That, from a thread where people were (unbelieveably, still) harping on the age difference. But I think it's so true -- theirs is a somewhat unconventional love story (Rene was not the Prince of Charm, as Celine likes to say) -- but such a genuine one. And so much better than a Prince Charming.

There will always be haters but the majority of people are at least acknowledging that what they are going through sucks. And many owning up by saying they thought it wouldn't last but it has and now it's all so sad.

I think finally everyone understands how much they love each other. Even non-fans. I just have this huge respect for their love story. The way she rubbed his hand and then put his arm around her at the end really got to me. Theirs is a love for all-time. Nothing else matters in the big picture she really showed something real and her pain was so raw. Such a tough but touching thing to watch. Like many of you said I didn't think I could love her anymore than I already did but today it's a whole new level.

It's over..... About 6-7 minutes.

 

 

Nothing new. Just more about her being an open book and the day they found out about the cancer. Also how the children are taking it.
