I wasn't thinking DVD, but I did think it was fabulous. maybe they did record the show in the first half of 2014 because they knew that something might happen?You do bring up a good point! He can't speak, he can barely hear, and he still has cancer. My heart is ACHING so much for them I can't even explain how much. I'm used to " rene the manager" the boss the very strong leader and you can tell by watching the clips that he's become fragile. My biggest hope isn't for a DVD of the show, a new French/ English album, for my favorite songs to be added to her show, to even see her sing / perform Live again, I just want for Rene to overcome this. 13 Quote

But at the same time if we don't get anything no dvd of this show or the last show I'm fine with it I just want Rene to recover although if the cancer has returned for a 3rd time then I think that it is ALOT harder. I love Celine and Rene and the kids like their my own fam and that's partially thanks to Celine letting us into her family's life all these years. I feel a true connection with them even though I have never personally met either of them. 3 Quote

Her mother died of ovarian cancer and wishes to be alive as long as possible for her children and husband. Her eloquent op-ed piece/diary on her decision to have a double mastecomy last year and last week after consulting with drs to have her fallobian tubes and ovaries removed was a difficult choice. Personally, I admire her courage and strength, not to mention the humantarian work she continues to do quietly in Africa, Asia and other countries. Jolie has opened a dialog for women's choices regarding breast cancer. As Céline bravely cares for René, Angelina has couragously confronted cancer on her terms with dignity. (sorry Kriztinaz, I couldn't quote you direcly for some reason) I believe I understand what you are feeling. As a fan of the Singer Celine Dion, I would definitely want a new DVD or any new material. But as a person who has followed a girl turn into a woman, seen her "premiers amours, premiers reves" and I know tant d'elle, de sa vie... I can feel her pain, I can imagine how hard it must have been for her to take care of Rene and be a stable mum for their children at the same time. I've worked as a nurse and facing the fragility of a patient, their loved ones, telling them about their death.. it's hard. And to take care of the one you love the most, in that fragile state, fearing you might lose them in an instant.... Celine went through it all! Can you even imagine! He said Céline is the real deal and despite René soft spoken manner he has been a prominent figure in the music industry. Kelly Osbourne had kind words about her and understands Céline's situation. She took care of her mother while she was battling cancer. Her father wasn't sure if he should have returned to the stage but was encouraged by family members. He always ended his concerts mentioning his wife. Despite the mean spirited comments people posted about CD in the past, I have only seen suportive and positive feedback about her courage and strength.
