So I just bought and received "Dion Chante Plamondon". (well I had Oxygen, QQJAQQMA, LAEEncore, LBDB and DMQS from itunes and On Ne Change Pas) Is it just me or the music and celine's quality voice are much, much better in her live concert album "Céline à l'Olympia" than the studio album? I have this funny quirk about being able to hear live albums, I think it has something to do with the fact that I want that to be me or something like that. I only can hear live albums through headphones as I do find the fans' love of her so inspiring.I do want to get this one though. How could I have forgotten what a masterpiece this is?! I love the tracklist and Celine was simply FLAWLESS. After quite some time I caught myself thinking again 'My God, what a voice!'. Don't get wrong, I have listened to this album many times before, but I guess I never really appreaciated it to the extent it deserves. Well, after a long time I finally do own this album. It is amazing. I know now what the Starmania medley is, even though I did not get it for the longest time. Some of those songs were new to me. I ADORE Elle. OMG so so so so good. I love how she talked about her parents and them saying to her when she was younger, if you ever make it to the Olympia, you must invite us. If so, it means that that song wasn't live in this tour, because it's the exact same track as the Olympia show. It would be the one and only tour where she would have lipped french songs. Makes me actually very sad. Makes me sad, because the Olympia show CD that we all love, her magnificent performance would not be as real as we think it's supposed to be.
