This is beyond tragic and sad. So many so young people, innocent normal people, shot like animals by a lunatic. It also seemed this shooter was latent gay and visited the pulse nightclub regularly. Often in a aggresive mood and often talking about his extreme father. His father is very against gay people and he does not give any excuse or whatever, in fact he is okay what his son did. These deep hate from Islamic extremistic people that raise their children like this. This guy was a walking timebomb it seems. He could not live with his gayfeelings and his father who was strict against gay people etc. These people are so dangerous.

And when in America, where everyone can have a license to carry a gun, nothing could held this lunatic away from his awful and disgusting plan.

As long as everybody is allowed to carry a gun in America, things will happen. Sometimes by accident when children get their father's gun suddenly but also, when a lunatic who is completely driven by hate can get a gun and we all know what that have lead to.

There is not really much we can do to avoid these Lone Wolves to carry their plan, But let us just make it for them more difficult by stopping every American citizen for carrying a license to have a gun!

So sad.

Well, the shooter was from where I live. In fact, right now, his wife who knew all about his plans and did NOTHING to stop him is staying in a house 2 minutes from my house. A house I pass by almost every day. Why hasn't she been arrested yet?

And Orlando is where I go almost every weekend. I can't wrap my head around what has happened and how close to home, literally, it all is. I'm fairly certain I've seen the shooter out and about before. Ugh! Such evil everywhere.

I don't get that either. This woman is then just as wrong and should be jailed or more! More so his father! . I would be so afraid going out in my town when this would happen. And that you say that this woman is only 2 min away from you and that you might have seen the guy before..what a world we live in!

But what i do not get is that people say that it was only a homophobe lunatic and that this ain't Islam related. It sure is and was!

People in brussels and france be aware. I just read on our local news site telegraaf that Belgium police received news that 1.5 week ago a bunch of terrorists left syria to go by boat to greece and from there on they split up in pears of 2 to go to belgium and france. Possible targets in brussels are a citymall city2 and a fastfoodrestaurant and a policestation. These attacks can happen anytime now

Sorry if i frighten anyone now. Just saying be warned. If you are living in Brussels.

The shooter worked security at the courthouse in our county....that's where I've seen him a few times. (I'm not a criminal... go to court for work matters). I feel uneasy knowing his family is so close by and so unstable.

These are really scary times. And not long after this a isis related group have spread hateful pamflets and flyers to many isisfans to attack gay people worldwide at gayprides. They say - punish the non-believing sodommites..

It all makes this world such a scary place these days..

Hello everybody! How are you? I'm fine. It got quite hot here a few days ago. One day we had pouring rain and the other - sunny and hot like it's mid-July.

Am I the only one a little disappointed she hasn't said anything? No one has to agree with me, not trying to stir anything, just feel a bit let down. I think she has a very large LGBT following, whether she knows it or not, and some small symbol of solidarity would have been nice.

I'm shocked and disappointed by the Brexit voting. Of course there must be reforms in the EU, but there are more pros than contras to be in the EU (freedom of traveling, duty etc.). Edited by comingback

I'm shocked and disappointed by the Brexit voting. Of course there must be reforms in the EU, but there are more pros than contras to be in the EU (freedom of traveling, duty etc.).

To be completely honest, I wasn't surprised. Maybe I didn't thought they would actually vote to leave but in the end it wasn't a surprise at all. While I regret the outcome of the voting you can't deny that the United Kingdom was maybe the member that wasn't European at all. They didn't participate in the Eurozone, the weren't in the Schengen zone, they had the bad habit of stalling new laws, etc... I'm not saying that the EU is perfect, contrary, it's far from perfect and can definitely use a reform (and that's something I think the 6 founding members (Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, France & Italy) will try to do) but the EU had it's advantages.

The fact is that the UK leaving the EU will be something unseen for. Yes, in the '80's Greenland left it's predecessor the EEG but that's different since they still have a special status within the EU, just like many other overseas parts. In the case of the United Kingdom it might be very well the splitting of the United Kingdom, Schotland just announced that they will hold a new referendum to leave the United Kingdom and they will start negotiating to remain in the EU as a independent country. The chance that this happens is quite high since the main reason that most of them voted to remain part of the UK back in 2014 was the fact that they wouldn't be able to join the EU (the UK wouldn't allow it and there's currently a freeze until at least 2020 for new members) but now the cards are totally different. Scotland voted to stay in the EU and now they feel betrayed by the UK so at this point that chance of Scotland leaving the UK is IMHO nearly 90%. Northern Ireland is in a similar position, they voted to remain in the EU and so they feel betrayed by the UK since they are now forced out of the EU and thus they are looking to join the Republic of Ireland... Chances of this happening might be a bit lower compared to Scotland but (there was a lot a bad blood between N-IRE and IRE in the past) but this could be very well the ideal reason to fall in each others arms...

And then there are the economical issues... Yes, the EU will hurt but in the end the EU will be fine and rather quick compared to the "suffering" the UK will go through in the next years.

A lot will depend on how the EU will react. We already saw that the UK will drag his feet to leave the EU while the EU will the opposite, they want to get rid of the UK the sooner the better and they already said it's not an amicable split.

June 23, 2016 will be a black mark in EU's history... That's something indisputable.

I shan't comment on the EU / brexit etc. Everyone has their opinion. I shan't start any arguments either on things I've read. Edited by celine4evauk

Actually I would like some help. I am venturing through Blu-Ray creation and I would love to create one with some good Celine content. However, I have no idea what to do. I thought maybe a good english language video compilation, but I'm drifting in a sea of ideas and always fishing nothing. Any help is welcome.

By now, Celine probably has more discarded projects than released ones.

RIP Bud Spencer.

@Brexit: I think it will affect all European countries in one way or another. However, the people of Great Britain were given the chance to say what they want and we should respect their decision.

It's so sad for the people of France to go through all that crazy madness and for all the innocent people who lost their lives. This year is one of the worst I can recall and bad thing it's not even over yet
