I know this will be unpopular but I wish she had done a staggered release with the single, sept in the usa, a few weeks later in the uk, there is no way she can promote it here in the uk and when it is promoted fans will already have it, the general public may push it up the charts, but it might not get as high as it could have. At least in the usa she has jimmy and ellen to push it up

If she can stick the top40 until her performance on Friday , would be great!.

 

Remember that the song is already doing better than TC. It took more than a month to enter the Itunes list.

Can UK fans tweet Gaydio and ask them to play it. It's a gay uk radio, and as we know Celine has a huge gay following. It's more likely to get played somewhere like that than on Radio1!

I was hoping to hear it more too! I knew we probably wouldn't but I was hoping. I guess that's just Sony. I saw that single was #11 so far (It may have been a different thread) so that's good! Hopefully all the pre-sales and first week's sales will help the album debut just as well as the single so far!

Well I for one love to see her in the charts again but if she's not #1 it won't get on my nerves. Let's give her a chance, Celine begins the promo officially tomorrow, and I'm sure good things are going to happen. There's still plenty of time until the album is released for Sony and Celine to promote the album (though I wished the videoclip had already been released), and in the worst case they could always release a second single in november when the album hits the shelves.

 

And no matter what the charts say, I just know we're having her best single, and her best mid-tempo, modern and ORIGINAL song in her career since IDAN, 10 years ago! That's quite to say after so many letdowns with her singles, bad choices of covers everywhere and all. Let's enjoy this great single and don't let the charts spoil the fun. I would say that the acid test will come when they have to pick the second single, and that's when they can't make any more mistakes. Something tells me there are even greater songs in the album waiting to be discovered, LMBTL could be just warming up the engines!

I can't belive that songs like Applause or Roar can get millions on radios in only a few days and this masterpiece is not getting a million in one day. I'm surprised she's only doing Jimmy kimmel and Ellen promotions. For TC she performed that song on many different appearances. I wonder why she's only doing two shows, one of which is around midnight on a Friday and probably won't get a huge audience

I think most hardcore Celine fans have their copies already.The song is going down on all the charts now. So this is it. Sony really does a great job when it comes to killing Celine's single. So much for all the excitement.

There will be more promo, but not just yet.

Promo hasn't begun yet. As Céline won't release a 2nd single before the album is released, you cannot expect to promote a single (heavily) for 2 months. The biggest push for both the single and album will happen next month and in November. If it would be promoted big time now, by the time Céline will do promo in Oct & Nov, people would be tired of the song already and the song would be on its way downwards..

YEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS he is. hehehehe Anyways, I think we should focus on the success of this song landing where it did without ANY real promotion, just on its own merit. At least that is better than focusing on the bad.
