She needs a freaking video already! A good one, not a silly, it-took-2-hours-to-make one. People see her perform on TV shows or hear the song and they go online to watch a video, to find out more.... and they find NOTHING and lose interest. No wonder it's not breaking through. it does go to show that with exposure the song can climb back up the charts; before Ellen it was down around #141 yesterday in the states and now it's back in the top 100 at #92.

 

If she did the Voice or even X-Factor with more than 7-8 million audience, it could go higher.

 

But they are probably waiting until October to do that. Or at least I hope it on their radar, and then, by then have the lyric video and official video read to go to.

Ok, it is time to accept the truth and move on. I, for one , feels very frustrated that whenever I turn on the radio , I keep looking for the song on every stations , POP or AC, and I just never heard it. And I am in Quebec! Celine better sale an astonishing amount of albums worldwide to compensate the fact that radios just won't play her anymore. She is an album seller, not a single seller and I hope everyone realize how much she is still loved in the world when the cd comes out but anyway , everyone is too cool for her.

well she's naked riding on a ball and she gave herself the best exposure with the VMA stunt she pulled AND she had the 1 of the top summer anthems of the year. Celine stayed in Vegas, and talks about Vegas, her kids, Rene, being a mom, selling her house, and Adele.

I think she's at #97 on iTunes US right now. Not bad... she could have sinked already! Let's give the song some time... hopefully a music video and GMA or sth like that and she'll chart in the HOT 100 for sure.

 

And I have no doubts the album will be among the 20 top sellers of the year. Céline sells... and the songs appear to be very good! We'll see...

 

SANS ATTENDRE had PAMP released in July, a song that went nowhere, a mediocre music video, an album cover without Céline's face on it, everyone was going crazy over here. And 4 months lates... smash! and it's now her 3rd biggest french album!
