Hmm somewhow it feels like she really lost some "voice power". On Ne Change Pas and Destin sounded much better during Sur Les Plaines.

I somehow miss a real orchestra...

I didn't watch the whole thing yet but I really loved the medley with des mots qui sonnent.

I so love the arrangements on the songs, the addition of the trumpets is so good! Makes the songs more powerful and uptempo.

The quality of the show is amazing.

They could have left Bozo out, still think she should sang a song of her own there.

But i still think Bercy on bluray would have been better, more possible shots and angles, and a more intimate feeling.

The wide shots do nothing for me, the audience just stands there.

The ambiance in Paris was much better.

And the 4 bonus songs WOW, especially RM, damn would die to see that video of that performance in Bluray! :-)

Totally agree. The freaking album isn't even out yet officially and people are already ripping it apart?
Although, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, it seems like half the time there's someone who just has to complain about something.
Can't you people just be greatful we have a dvd/cd at all? I know I am.

because hey lets face it folks, celine isnt as involved in the music industry as she used to be, shes not releasing albums as often as she used to... she is slowly inching closer & closer to retiring as each day goes by, especially w/ renes health problems, so this might very well be THE LAST NEW ALBUM that we might be getting from celine, especially after the failure of lmbtl the album!!!! (& no im not counting the new "playlist" albums/albums as it/they are just RE-RELEASES OF HER DECADES OLD ALBUMS lol, so to me they are not new @ all so they do not count lol)...

& yes lmbtl IS a failure big time!!!! now im not saying its the lowest selling album ever (because there are hundreds of albums released every year, & yes there are other albums out there that have done worse than lmbtl by singers & bands who arent as well known & famous as celine is)... BUT lets be honest, lmbtl is the LOWEST SELLING album of celines career compared to all of her previous albums, 200,000 in the usa after 6 months is pretty abysmal & pitiful for a singer of celines status!!!! heck its pitiful for a newbie singer, much less one whos supposed to be a frickin legend!!!! :(

so based on lmbtls terrible track record, there might not be anymore new albums from celine after this, most likely just a few re-releases of her old greatest hits albums like that playlist one that might be released in the future, but thats pretty much it... sony music does not want to invest much money into anything new by celine these days, they only wany to invest their money into celines old hits from the 90s, hint hint all of these greatest hits albums that sony keeps releasing w/ the same old songs on them lol, so i dont think that sony will be begging celine to record another brand new album anytime soon or if ever!!!! :(

so my point here is, we all should be super & incredibly grateful for this concert dvd & cd set to be released because we dont know what is going to happen to our celine next, we dont know if we are going to get anything else new from her for a long time to come, so WE ALL SHOULD APPRECIATE WHAT WE DO GET FROM CELINE!!!!

sorry for ranting & using capital letters here, but it frustrates me too how much people do complain about this release when it just came out & pretty much about everything that celine releases these days!!!! now im not saying that everything celine does is absolutely perfect, because its not & yes celine & sony & her team do make their fair share of mistakes just like all of us do... but since celine has become less & less involved w/ her music career these days & the possibility of no new albums or projects from celine for a very long time to come, & if we even get any new albums from her period, we all should be grateful for what we do still get from her @ this point, because we all really dont know how much longer she will keep performing for us & i have a deep feeling that its only going to be a couple of more years @ the most, but i really hope not of course... because it is just like that old saying goes, you just dont know what you got until its gone, then we all will be missing her again... ok my rants over lol...

thank you alex_incognito for answering my question about this... :) now is there any website that i can get the dvd & cd set from that till cost me less than $30???? :) because the boutique on celines website is too expensive for me, as much as i adore celine, i dont have a spare $40 + shipping & handling to spend because i have bills & stuff, & also car payments to make that im having to deal w/ right now since the accident that my bf & i had recently & our old car got wrecked...

sorry for getting into my personal story here, i just wish this was sold in the usa... :( i dont frickin understand the reason why her french cds & dvds arent released in the usa, which is one of celines BIGGEST MARKETS, & sony should release her cds & dvds in EVERY COUNTRY!!!! then sony wonders why most of her american fans dont support her french music!!!! hello, thats because her french music ISNT AVAILABLE IN THIS COUNTRY ANYMORE, thats the reason why!!!! most of us american fans can only hear her french songs on several bad quality videos on youtube, which is not quite the same great quality as you can get on a cd or dvd, or even on itunes!!!! heck they dont even have it on usa itunes either, & yes i have checked usa itunes & its not on there, its the same thing as her french albums!!!! i really want to get this concert dvd & cd set soon, but if i cant find a cheap copy of it soon, i will have to wait until the prices drop for them... :( like some people have said these being a celine fan isnt cheap @ all these days lol!!!!

& i was responding to somebody whose sad just like i am right now, about how much people on here are complaining about this concert dvd & cd set when it had just been released yesterday, its horrifying!!!! we all should be grateful & appreciative for anything from celine, because celine might not be giving us any new albums after this, & then everybody on here will be whining about how much they miss celine & how they wish she would make just one more album & etc... because lets face it we might not get anything new from celine for a long time or if ever, so instead of complaining we all should just be very grateful to have it @ all... & if you dont agree w/ that then its fine, its just shocking & appalling to see all of this complaining about it already, especially since we dont get many new albums or new projects from celine these days... wow smdh lol... ok second rant over lol...

& i hope that you dont mind me asking you this, but you are from the usa too right???? im from the usa too, & im eondering, how much did you pay for your copy of the concert dvd & cd set???? & please also include shipping & handling... because i want to buy the set myself, but her websites boutique costs way too much for me & i just dont have alot of spare cash on me right now, i want to get a copy for $30 or less if i can help it lol, but i havent had much luck finding any cheaper than $40, i just cant afford that right now, but i do want to have a copy... thank you so much, i really appreciate having any help w/ this!!!! :)

I'm a bit disappointed with the CD. I mean, the mix and sound are ok (well, not to mention the autotune...!) but there are strange things : CD1 ends fading out but CD2 begins normally, with no fade in. On the bonus tracks, one can hear the very begining of "Je sais pas" at the end of the "Water & a Flame" track, that's very weird. And there are problems with the sound of the crowd all throughout the show, too.

Could be Celine's last release, but that's just a reason why the should've made it perfect.

I just heard Water and a Flame from the bonus tracks, and let me tell the chorus sounds weird, the videos on youtube sounds better than that.

I'm not criticizing Celine, but the production team. Celine did her part by stand there and sing, the same for Loved Me Back To Life, Sony or whoever was the responsible for the promotion is responsible for the failure as well...

I'm just waiting to get my copy anyway...
