I know this is the twins topic but are there any of RC?

Nope. I looked at all of the albums posted.. and it was just the twins, one of the nannies, I think Linda, and a bodyguard that left. I think it's because today's a school day and I know that he has like some teacher that travels with them when he's away from school.. so he was probably in the hotel room doing school work.

It made me laugh because in a ton of different websites with the two pics of the twins.. tehre like Nelson or Eddy were appeared leaving a hotel.. bla bla bla. But there like "Nelson wasn't seen today" as if the two different pics of the twins, was just Eddy haha. Its a WWE wrestling t shirt it was the theme of their birthday party. The guys in the background are wwe wrestlers who celine had come to meet the twins for the party they are big wrestling fans thats why they put colour in their hair i forget the wrestlers name but ive seen on tv a wrestlers hair like that. RC is also into it so im assuming thats how they started liking it. U can also see a WWE bucket in the background to for drinks so that was the theme for their party

Still very odd to me that she's not taking the twins on the road.

 

I guess she wants the stability of home and their friends and school - but aren't they home-schooled anyway? And there are two of them.... she had a whole teacher on tour just for RC!

 

I wonder if she perhaps made a decision to raise the twins a bit differently and keep them away from the business a bit more. RC was obviously on tour at their age, and had seen her on stage multiple times by then. I'm fairly sure they have at this point as well - but still, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we've seen photographic evidence of them at a show.

 

She seems to be keeping them away from the business and the media more so than little RC - I wonder if that's because she wishes she had done things a bit differently with him back then.

I have a feeling that RC was acting out. You could see that from the lyrics he did. I think every teenager goes through that in some way. And if not as a teenager, then as an adult

And I also think Céline did have a talk with him. Maybe not to make him stop but just had a motherly talk. He's smoking and I'm sure Céline didn't like that at all.

Also regarding his music, Céline isn't stupid, she will want him to have a contract with someone IF he's serious about it and wants to be a performer (rapper or what ever he wants) instead of just giving away his music.

Another difference- she had Rene AND her mother on tour with her in 2008. It was in some ways a family trip and they did a lot of vacationing as well as working. Here, there’s no other parent, and it seems Maman Dion (who is what? 92 now?) isn’t getting around so easily. If they’re just going to be with nannies while Celine is working, why not be at home? Plus, they’ll be 9 years old through most of the tour - a bit older than RC was, and they may be on sports teams, etc. that they don’t want to leave.

Also I think she's just talking about the North America leg. Once she is off to the rest of the world, I think they will go with her (The twins that is) so I guess she doesn't want to remove them from their home and schedule unless she needs too

Of couurse it's just my opinion ,but I believe she made the best decision ever. First of all the schedule was totally different from the last world tour. With TC she had breaks in between the shows. She could visit the cities,Now it's one show after another, traveling from city to city all the time. The most important difference is that her mom is not going to be traveling with her, and dad (so so sad) is no longer here. I remember there were so many pictures of RC on Rene's lap watching her perform. I feel really sorry that the twins weren't able to bond with their father as RC did. Rene spent a lot of time with RC. He was able to learn so much from his father. The twins will stay home with Linda and the nannies, and Celine will be returning home as much as possible. In the interview she said that the longest period of time that she will be away from them is two weeks.That's not so bad!

I just realized she's got shows scheduled for Oct 22 and 24th.. does that mean she won't be home for the twins' birthday?! That must be a first, surely?

(And is she at least with them now? Or is she in Montreal? Really sucks that this illness is throwing what I'm sure is a meticulously-constructed schedule for a loop. Poor thing.)
