But she was flawless. Sang live, perfectly, looked gorgeous. Bravo Celine! It's a pitty she's alway doing her job perfectly, but her record company/management aren't.

I never pay attention to whether it's lipsynched or not. I'm just thankful for the opportunity to see her perform and to watch her expressions, etc.

 

Besides, it's amazing that she gets the chance to get an award and a great televised appearance.

River Deep, Mountain High was live and Ne Me Quitte Pas was lipped from the album version. Amazing Céline! It was easy to see that she had never lipped to this song before, it was a little hard for her and I saw her a bit insecure. She clearly prefers to sing this one live, more emotion.

I cannot believe we are debating the lipping again after another Celine appearance on TV.

 

She must also be the only major artist I know who goes to major events and doesn't perform her new material. NMQP doesn't count as new for me as it's only included on the deluxe version of Sans Attendre. What are her management thinking?

Why do people have to say STUPID to others just because they have an opinion and enjoy the performance the way they think it was???

 

I understand that people in forums have an opinion but the lack of respect among us is something that I will never understand nor approve of. And it's not the first thing I've seen it happen.

 

And the lipping thing is soooooo old now. Get over it!!!

No matter what you say, I won't praise her for singing 2 covers on such a occasion, one of which was playback and it was even the easier song to sing live than RDMH

Geez, people, stop it alreay. This time, she sang both songs live. You can hear how her voice was not exactly top notch as on the album, and yes, a bit tired. It wasn't lipped, both songs were live.

Geez can't we say at least for once and acknowledge that the song was 100% playback. It's a SA version. Completely the same. It's sad that some of you can't face the reality.
