Geez can't we say at least for once and acknowledge that the song was 100% playback. It's a SA version. Completely the same. It's sad that some of you can't face the reality. I love her still but don't approve her appearances like this. that's all.

The version may be the same as in same song, lyrics, notes. Her voice wasn't the same at all...It was pretty far from what she can actually do with this song. But, hey, believe what you want.

Just loved to see her on german TV here in Austria after such a long time. It was great! Even her german sounded great, only one word was wrong!

And why do people think she should sing new material from her new French album?

I don't think Germany would play (or even buy) the new single anyway...

Not a bad idea to sing a French classic that people (may) know and can find on the deluxe version if they care to buy a French album.

I don't even want to say anything about the performances or I'll again end up being termed a 'hater' and a 'complainer'. So instead I'm gonna concentrate on venting my frustration that the watermarks on you-know-what are getting more and more ridiculous with every video being uploaded

and not only that - he presents the video as HD, but when you watch in full HD 720P you get no HD but some upconverted low quality video. That is misleading. I could have easily recorded this, because I have this channel on my HD decoder.. stupid I forgot to record this!

River Deep Mountain High was definately live, no doubt about that. For Ne Me Quitte Pas I don't know it. But I think Le Miracle or some other great song from her new album would have been a better choice.

 

When you only present yourself as someone that can sing covers, then what actually what is it you want to promote your image with? As a coversinger? This was the perfect moment to bring new material from her new album, because those songs are masterpieces! How will the world know that you bring new material on a new cd if River Deep Mountain High is performed for the th time and Ne Me Quitte Pas, a cover from a well known French song... Btw why should it be needed that she sings songs that people already know. It is far more surprising for an audience if a complete new song is performed ( even if lipped), because they will think.. hey that is interesting, she has a new song... hey she has a new album, hm interesting!

 

I have to say though, she looks stunning here, gorgeous dress, gorgeous photos from her with the Bambi award.

yep lipped, i played NMQP SA version with this one and it was perfect synchronism, except it was shortened.

 

but its cool, i liked it.

 

Is it just me or RDMH when performed live is much better when its shortened? Or am i just fed up with that song?

It sounds enough what she sang.

its a shame she didn't answer that question.... its rare that those kind of interviewers are up to date about the stars' future projects..

 

And notice how the guy is interested in the NeYo collaboration and if the style of the album is going to make us dance or what... Please lets hope this has been received by Céline as a warning to see that people is indeed ASKING for a new music direction in her career. The interviewe spoke clearly about DANCE music. How many times this must happen to realize that the Vegas concept for the english album must be changed?
