Just saw the movie last week and I have to say that the sound quality in the movie is actually worse than some of the recordings on youtube. I actually really like the song, it's just bad production and sounds low quality. Not Diane's fault, that guy had no business saying that to her. Having said that, not one single person left the theater during the credits until Celine's song was over so either they were all fans or everyone liked the song!!

I am sad that that the guy said those things to Sia and Diane Warren period. This person should have not said that or just kept his mouth shut period. But here is the thing. Not many people like the song right? So, if he browses the forum, he probably assumes that nobody likes it which is not true. Just because we are fans of the same singer doesn't mean we all agree on the same things all the time.

 

Also by saying that nonsense to Diane Warren puts the lady's work down and makes it seem that she did a bad job on the song. In my opinion that song is fine. They should modernize the song a bit but other than that I like the song and don't see anything wrong with it. It's like what someone said on here "that he should have spoke for himself" and it's true because he does not speak for me.

The song made me watch a film (that's propably the reason for the majority of fans to watch the movie). Every fan will recognize her voice!

 

After watching the movie while 'watching' end credits my mom was like 'Isn't that Celine? So that's why you wanted me to see the movie!'

I personally think he new mix takes it to a new level, I love the song and I think as an album track every1 should chill out about it!

Hey Guys! I saw "Oz the great and powerful" last night on dvd and during the credits I heard Mariah Carey's song "Almost Home". It gave me hope, because I've got a hq version of this song and I can't compare these two versions. The one at the end of the movie sounds soooo poor. Hopefully, it'll be the same with "Unfinished Songs"! We might actually get a well aranged song in October and maybe then some of us will love it! We can hear a sneak preview on Celine's official site and it already sounds much better for me!

 

I can't belive that I'm doing it and at the same time I'm sorry for quoting my own post :-/ , but...I think after hearing the snippet that it might be actually true what I wrote then. For me it sounds modern and fresh :-P

After hearing the album version of the song, I can safely say THEY FIXED IT!! The version that appeared in the film was very subdued and didn't fit with what we've heard of the album so far. I'm including a link to the song but be warned, its the last song in the video and it includes every song on the album (30 seconds of each)
