"It's All Coming Back To Me Now"

I was 11 and bought "Falling Into You" on cassette tape (the first tape I ever bought for myself) after hearing the song on the radio.

Even tough I had watched Bicentennial Man and Stuart Little 2 movies at the cinema when I was a kid (I have to tell you I was stunned by THAT voice), I didn't really start following Celine's career until mid 2009, a day after I watched Titanic. I always respected so much the voice behind My Heart Will Go On and considered it one of the greatest of all time.

the first song that draw my attention to Céline was 'My Heart Will Go On'... Afterwards, I always like a song here and there, such as 'A New Day Has Come', 'I'm Alive', 'Rien N'est Vraiment Fini', but I really started to become a fan and buy all of her stuff in 2007... I ♥ Taking Chances so much and the dvd preview was sooo amazing! Thx Godness, the flame of passion was kindled!

Beauty and the beast.

I remember so well when i first watched it with my youngest brother in BETAMAX. I was 7 yrs old back then. I always remember the feeling i had, i was so tantalized with the voice but i did'nt it was celine and i didn't bother to know since i was so young back then. Until the heyday of titanic, i was so happy to know that the person who sung the BATB and MHWGO is just one person! On that day forward, i fell in love with her and swore to collect all her albums, i have most of it, but yet to complete! ;)

The second song that drew me in was of course "Pour Que Tu M'Aimes Encore". I remember buying "Duex" and falling in love with it back in 1997. I really loved it and then I discovered the live version on "Live A Paris" CD and I listened to that version day in and day out. Still love it to this day.

I also remember buying "Live A L'Olympia" and hearing "Calling You". Let me just say that I annoyed the hell out of my neighbours with that song on repeat for hours at a time and on full volume.

1988, Ne partez pas san moi, on the eurovision previews as hosted by Terry Wogan. Instantly that voice hit me and captured my heart and i still love the song too!

love doesn't ask why

speaks from the heart and never explains

dont you know that love doesn't think twice

it can come all at once or whisper from a distance

The Power Of Love, I fell in love with the dramatic performance, it was 1999 I think. I knew Beauty And The Beast, My Heart Will Go On and IACBTMN long before that, but it's when I heard TPOL in 1999 that I started following Celine and buying everything signed Celine Dion on my way lol

Welcome to the "Loved Me Back To Life" era!

I can't believe I'm still remember that!

Me and my sis were sitting in the car and than she played "I'm Alive" from a various artist burned disc. Than I asked her who is this singer?? She said "Celine Dion!"

After couple days she called me from the living room "Yakir u have to come to see this, that the song you love! (I'm Alive) on MTV

As a 7 years old kid I thought the scene at the beginning of the clip that Celine inside the airplane, I always thought she in a huge ticking clock (I know Silly :-D )

So since than I huge fan of her!!!

I started to admire her 2 weeks before I went to 1st grade, now I'm finishing High school so 11 years of MAGIC!!!!

This sentence says it ALL and starts all

Une voix d'or dans un Cœur enfant

Oh man... Reading posts of people saying that they first heard of Céline thanks to "That's the Way It Is" or any of the tracks from "A New Day Has Come" or "Taking Chances" is making me feel old! :wheelchair:

I still have my first Céline item that my grandparents bought for me one day when we went to the local shopping mall. I was 9 and in love with the song "If You Asked Me To." Still one of my favourite Céline tracks.

I think it was All by Myself, or perhaps Power of Love. I remember I Want You to Need Me, I Love You, and Your Light were very heavy influences on my being a fan early on. It was definitely those songs. Also, Ave Maria!

The rest is history.

for me it was the first time I heard the power of love on the radio. I stopped what I was doing and thought WOW, WHO IS THAT! A friend had the colour of my love on cassette and did me a copy, and the rest is history.

Beauty and the beast was the first song I ever heard by Celine, but I was really young and didn't know who was singing it, But then a couple years later I fell in love with Titanic, I watched it like every day, I was 7 years old I do believe, and I really really liked the song at the end “ My heart will go on” of course...And my Aunt had one of Celine's albums "All the way: A decade of song" She gave it to me, I’ve be addicted ever since!! <3
The Greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to Love and be Loved in return.

unlike others, i was Celine's fanatic when i listened to We are the world. I knew Celine when Titanic and My heart will go on conquered the world. However, only when i heard her powerful part in We are the world, did i start to find her and to be her fanatic. she rules :">

Great stories!

I remember watching the "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" video on Top of the Pops back in 1996 at the age of 9, and fell in love with Celine straight away. Every Thursday/Friday evening (or whenever it was on TV), I would be glued to the TV set hoping that she'd be on again. And whenever she was, I would shush my parents and brother, so I could enjoy the video and her voice. My Dad eventually went out and bought me her Falling Into You album. I believe he regrets having done that now - I'm practically obsessed with the woman :-D

I remember hearing Beauty and the Beat first before anything else as we has a copy of the movie. But it wasn't until BYLM and TT especially one of the performances of TT on TOTP where she's on a bridge or something. It wasn't live but it was a good performance.

I remember nicknaming her "the woman that hols her stomach" because whenever I saw her on the tv after Beaty and the Beast she held her stomach when she sang. After that it was Auntie Céline...because it was her voice that got me interested in singing and in French, spoken and sung. So probably since about 1990 - ish being about 7-8 years old.

Loving all the rest of the stories too :)
