people come to this forum to discover news, which are mostly not provided by the official site. those who are soooooooooo strict about spoilers should keep away from forum like this. you cant just claim not being respected because you see sth. you dont want to see, and on the oher hand, when you see sth. you need, you praise the forum. seems kinda double standard to me...maybe she don't think the things she posted are spoilers, just because you think they are spliers so you feel disrespected? how do you define whats spoiler and whats not? its just a misinterpretation, not an issue of respect.

I agree people come here to discover news since the official site is a mess, but in this case the official site was NOT supposed to share links so that people would download the album or showcase photos of the album and part of the booklet. So what happened here now has nothing to do with the official site and its incompetence. I don't understand what are we negotiating here... The fact that some people want to follow the rules and expect the official release date? This is absolutely absurd and I'm not even going there. Waiting for the official release > Resorting to illegal actions. Simple as that. If people want to share information they should at least use a spoiler tag, what Javito asked totally makes sense to me. Javito was too polite to bring up the ''respect'' argument. We should wait and see how this one fares in Europe now with all the promo lined up, and then they decide which route to take with the follow-up.

 

But the album is solid. At least 6 tracks have single potential, as you say.

I'll say it again: I'm happy to see people sharing the news and exclusives here and everywhere. I'm not bought to any fan club and I consider we're all the same fans (though I do believe some just share to constantly get credit and public appraisal and a million "likes" and "thank you's").

 

There are fans who don't have a problem to listen all the album, even if its a bad quality straming with an off voice in the background and won't have anything new left to discover when they have the album in their hands, and there are some other fans who prefer not to listen anything and save that special moment for when they have the physical CD with them. That includes not watching photos from the album booklet. Great to see some fans already have his/her copie and are sharing every tiny detail about the album already (still don't know what excitement they'll have left when they buy the album, that's not my problem), but is that hard to accept and respect the other side? I repeat again, spoiler tags are for something.

 

I know where this photos were coming, they are from a french Celine collector who posted them on facebook today, and if I had seen them there first, I couldn't have said a word, because facebook doesn't understand of spoilers. But in a forum, you have the chance to warn people about what they're about to see or watch.

 

And just in case there's a doubt, I'm not saying Celine Marie had bad intentions with it, thanks for sharing. I just hope the full booklet pictures are not revealed yet, or at least someone uses spoiler tags. Or maybe I'll keep from visiting this thread until next tuesday, I don't have a problem with that

It is too much. Getting 3 singles from this album will be enough, since the lead single has a hard time on the charts already.

Ending this album with HDYKTMP and Lullaby would be like ending ANDHC with At Last and Nature Boy... Oh... wait.

 

Yeah, I'm glad these songs aren't on the normal version or the vinyl. Open Arms would've been great. But... oh my God, you do not end such a modern, upbeat album like this with... that.

 

 

Bonus tracks today are what used to just be either b-sides on singles (which we don't have anymore) or just tracks that didn't fit the album's coherence. They are almost ALWAYS songs that are going to sound different to the standard track list. But since there is no such thing as a b-side release anymore, they use them as bonus tracks. So technically, they really aren't "ending the album" with these songs. The track list ends at number 13. Unfinished Song. The other tracks are just bonus, like they are said to be.

answer me please. is that too hard or too expensive to release a single? even if that's just a radio single, without any video. because if you say 3 singles are enough, best possibility is you will get LMBTL, SLS, and INCREDIBLE. i dont want BA become the new I SURRENDER. same great song which need to be a single. DKL also a new modern ballad, it's adeleish, right? what about WAAF? and maybe even THANKFUL for Christmast season next year? not in same time. one by one. nonstop. or maybe she can promote different songs on LV each month? that's a great promotion, right?

maybe they'll release more singles if the sales numbers are amazing. so, get as many copies as you can and drag all your friends to buy it, too. im planning to get 2 copies.

I think its pretty clear, showing photos is the most extreme example of spoiling the fun in this case. If you post a youtube video here, those who don't want to listen any music can easily avoid it: nobody forces them to click the "play" button like I said, and that's what I did when I see the videos of Incredible and WAAF making of's, or the WAAF performance yesterday in Today Show. But a photo, that's a different story. This morning I just clicked on this thread to see the news and the photos directly stumbled on my face. I would have easily avoided that if they had been under spoiler tags.

 

Also, do you mean that just because almost everyone is talking of the songs all the time I must stay away from all these threads without reading the forum? Sorry but no. One thing is to read the opinions about the songs, imagine how they will sound according to fans reviews, and another different is to disembowel all the details, showing how even the CD design looks. It's like waiting to watch a movie in the theater and someone suddenly tells you the plot. That's where the Spoiler tags come to action

In a perfect world yes. Radios do not play Celine though. So releasing a radio single won't do much. She should rather have 3 solid single releases from this album and move on with her next project. Even during her prime she never had an album with more than 3 huge singles. Her best sellers have 3 great selling singles and few average or flop ones. Celine is not a singles artist and she should not be treated as such now that she is 45 years old and out of her commercial prime. She needs TV appearances and acknowledgement to do well.

btw, i dont hear any christmas song in this album, kinda sad. they did well with le miracle last year, very christmasy.

i think it's not a problem if it's flop or not. at least give them a try. people will not love them if they dont know about them, right? i know, i just want it to be successful, without thinking about business point of view. but some songs nowadays are loved because they all are advertised and promoted hard.

Focus on the fact that if the album sells many copies, then many people will discover these songs anyway! 'Call The Man' that was released as a single is not more popular than 'Seduces Me' which was just an album track. Same goes for 'I Surrender' that is more popular than 'Goodbye (The Saddest Word)'.
