"Fly", "MHWGO" and "Goodbye's (The saddest word)" comfort me when I think about my mother who passed away 5 years ago. There are just so many of Celine's songs that lift me up, relax and give me comfort for me to be able to name them all. Those are just some that popped in my head, but there are TONS of them. I guess that's why I can listen to Celine throughout the day and night no matter when or where!!! Quote

I guess it's because I discovered this couple of songs during a very happy period of my life, back in the fall of 2010. Even tough I had heard the songs before, I really catched their meaning during that time. The funny thing is that the songs have nothing to do with what I was going through at that moment I had just begun a wonderful friendship with a boy that used to be my friend, but nowadays, he is more like a brother to me. I guess that the fact that I appreciate friendship so very much will make me remember this couple of songs for the rest of my life. Another example would be Then You Look At Me. This song reminds me to the first true friend I had and who, unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to too soon... That's one of the main reasons why I chose TYLAM as my all time favorite Celine song. That thing with my friend happened back in early August of 2008, and I discovered Céline's Then You Look At Me in mid 2009. I immediately related the powerful lyrics of the song to the fact that I wasn't really sure of what friendship really is until I met that boy. It used to be very touching for me back in those days, but now, every time I give a listen to this song, I think of him and thank life for have met him, even though for a short time... It's a way for me to pay tribute to him, and to thank him for what he did for me, maybe without knowing. And I don't speak french, though I have had it translated and its beautiful. But Celines voice is just amazing singing in French. I also love "If I were you", and "A new day has come" but its too hard, I could go on listing song after song for they all comfort me. I love her! Quote
