We all have our favorite Celine songs but what song or songs of Celine's have or do help comfort you the most when your feeling sad, confused, defeated, lacking worth or your heart is hurting? These are some Celine songs that have had a huge positive impact on me: Call The Man: What a incredible song! The music, the lyrics, the gospel choir, and Celine's amazing voice with Celine singing about calling out to Jesus (The Man), because He's needed here, which has never been more true in today's crazy world! Cling to our Lord and His Holy name becuase He died to save and help us, and the lyrics fit perfectly with that message! My favorite parts are: Call The Man He's Needed Here Needed In The Chaos And Confusion From The Plains To City Hall Needed Where The Proud Who Walk The Wire Are Set To Fall (Please don't be too proud to reach out to Jesus, He wants to have a personal relationship with you) What a gift this song is! My Heart Will Go On: Most people think of Titanic, and yes I do too, but this song is so much more to me. It has helped me with the loss of both of my Grandpa's and has also helped my Mom with the loss of her favorite Grandpa, who she was very close to. The lyrics are very moving and say how we both have felt about keeping their memory alive and that we do believe that they're here. Celine voice is so emotional and soothing and can help you connect to love ones lost. Prayer (from the album A New Day Has Come): This song is one of my favorite ever and helps me big time! I love the message of the song. As you listen, it's like watching the news around the world today and hearing Celine sing a prayer to Jesus about how people seem to lose their way but it's not too late. I also love how Celine sings about letting children start out their lives knowing and enjoying what blessings from God are too often ignored by our world when we are blinded by lifes distractions and obligations as we grow older and remembering them. And you can always feel her emotion in the song, and since reading her book 'My Story, My Dream' I can relate to her songs a lot better.The people in my class at school give me hell because i like Celine, i don't care what they think. She is my favourite singer and that is all there is to it. When i get home i listen to her and everything that they say just gets forgotten. Celine Dion is the greatest person ever! I can really relate to it right now with all the sh#t happen in my life right now. (I also see it as a religious) 2) Goodbyes The Saddest Word. Reminds me, of when I lost my grandma suddenly when I was on Vacation In Montreal. It was so sudden, I didn't even have time to say my last goodbyes to her. I was sad, I was angry, I felt guilty for not seeing her more. That the first time I ever really broke down and cried. 3) That's The Way It Is. When I feel depress, or want to cry, this song makes me smile, and perk up. 4) Prayer. I love this song, it is so true to what we see on the news. How, we don't take time to see all the little joys that happen to our lives. To take time to smell the roses, take time to spend with your family. Just enjoys the small things in our lives, and not take them for granted. 5) Love is All We Need. "He was Standing, on his sun set strip singing the blues for money. It's easy, to turn the other way when you have it all." Its so true you see a homeless person on the street, you walk by, and you ignore them with your shopping bags or just walk by. 1 Quote
