It is weird, cos there was talk of a CD too... Maybe that one got delayed?

If they don't want to bother with a physical release, at least they could release it on Apple TV.

Someone told it would be digitally but I can't find it anywhere.

The new mix for the vinyle is quite strange : they've cut EVERY spoken intervention and some cuts are really, really bad 😅

Well someone just said "I'm a parisian" so she made fun with the parisian accent and when the guy said "I live in Paris" she just sang "A Pariiiiiiiis", that's all !

HMV for Live A Paris Kev and FNAC for Bonjour Pardon Merci. 😃

I looked at the Sony website too for the lavender edition but they said delivery might be 12 weeks 🤷‍♂️😂

Well in the Instagram link found in the post that I quoted, there is a video that shows Céline being asked if she would ever sing “Hymne à l’amour” again. She says she would love to but feels like it was a one off moment for the Olympics. Which is the same way many of us on here feel.

Yeah still not a big fan of the BPM cover :( It should have been the Dansons one!! I do wonder if the 12" single will do anything for BMP in France chartwise!

Just got notice my lavender honey LP shipped from her store. I should have it in a few days. I'll post pictures of it if no one has by then.

 

Side note, coming here and seeing it is in fact basically the entire track list has me elated. LBDB is simply extraordinary from this concert.

How is the sound? I can't buy it right now due to financial reasons but I love the fact that all songs are supposedly included! That's something we can't even say for the CD. I wish they would release the CD on two discs without anything cut, and include WDMHBN and DMQS.

Were WDMHBN and DMQS really part of the setlist in 1995 in Paris?

 Yes, at least DMQS was often part of the French setlist and WDMHBN was certainly performed at Paris. Probably just cut because of O'lympia, but then again TPOL was included in both releases so idk.

Not in the french shows. Maybe the french canadian ones ?

Well, as I said the sound is really good. Obviously it's the master from the laserdisc, and not from the DVD. But some of the cuts, fade in / fade out are really bad. And except for "J'attendais...et vous êtes venus !" at the beginning, absolutely every intervention from Céline has been erased, even the one that was on the very first notes of "Les derniers seront les premiers".

I'm planning on buying my copy in Paris this weekend!

In the meantime, is there a place I can listen to the FLAC of the vinyl? I don't want to have to wait until I get back from Paris to hear it!
