Rumor: Celine and Mariah duet for Whitney tribute

Please get your facts checked first. She left Sony because of Tommy Mottola and she divorced Tommy cos he was an @$$ of a husband who was a control-freak. There were also many other things that led Mariah to leave Sony and then, the breakdown that she had later on in the decade. It had nothing to do with Celine or anyone outselling her.

 

 

Also, Tommy Mottola has said Celine Dion is the best voice in the world. If my memory serves, he said this while married to Mariah. When their careers were both at its height at this time, I could see a little jealousy.

During the Disney Christmas special, Nick Cannon (Mariah's current husband) introduced Celine as one of the best voices and one of his all-time favs. Will that warrant her to leave him as well?

Ok where has Mariah said kind things about Celine? I am not trying to start anything. I just never got that Mariah liked Celine. Maybe I am wrong because I don't know nothing but I just never seen anything from Mariah's end only Celine. Also yeah there are always rivalries started up by the fans but for the Jennifer Lopez one versus Mariah is more visible and I don't even get that one at all.

 

As for Celine and Mariah duetting: Yeah it's a dream of mine just like Peter Cetera returning to Chicago, and Steve Perry returning to Journey. I like to see that happen but don't think it ever will.

I have plenty of Celine's interviews on my PC and dozens of magazines/newspapers featuring interviews of her and I've never seen (nor heard) any of those things.

 

I'm not saying they're jealous of each other nor do I even think that there is a rivalry between them, but I just don't believe all these crappy made-up stories about their so called ''friendly'' relationship that were more likely invented by the Lambs.

I don't think anything that has been said is out of hand. I strongly dislike her. She's fake (literally) and her ugly personality ruins her music IMO. The hate and the bitterness some of the people have just shows how shallow and empty their lives are. I'm sure Celine would be ashamed to have fans hating on other artists when she herself doesn't have any ill-feelings for her fellow artists.

People hating on lambs for being so obsessed about MC and insulting other artists are no different than some of the Celine fans here. Shame that these Celine fans think they are better than those lambs.

YAY I agree! Never saw that pic, it's a good one. I LOVE Toni, she's such a sweet talented person.

She had a lot of money issues in her career, she got a bad record deal and La Face Records charged every little thing

back against her royalties. She's still doing shows & recording, she had the Vegas show at the Flamingo across from Celine during A New Day. She had some medical problems and had to stop - heart. loopus, she has a child with autism. I love her show Braxton Family Values.

 

I think Celine should do a "Diva" duets album one day.

I think it would be nice to see Toni and Celine sing duets of BYLM and Unbreak My Heart with each other, simply because when Diane Warren wrote those songs, they were originally intended for the other singer (meaning Celine would have released Unbreak My Heart and Toni would be known for BYLM)..

That's all just part of Mariah's outward shtick. It's what she believes her fans want to see. And it gives her an exterior shell to hide behind. Her raw talent speaks (or at least, used to) speak for itself:
