It would be a great career move on both of their parts to get back in the spotlight. Can you imagine if they went on tour together? Or if they introduced their twins to each other? Not holding my breath on this rumor though. Mariah has already done a duet with Whitney and there's not greater tribute than that. Quote

They are both magnificent artists in their own unique rigths and no one can detest that; needless to say that they are friends -though commercially rivals, aren't they? It was all to sell papers and mags back in the day! Ive never seen one piece of evidence which says they dont like each other, somehow the media created a divide between the fans of Celine and Mariah a few years ago, and its never brushed off. Just like this topic, it was all Rumor lol Somehow becuase ive seen so many negative comments about Mariah on this forum, since i joined when i was younger, i think i was 15, ive always been led to believe she is rubbish and inferior to celine. Although i am not as keen on her as much as Celine, i think she does well to keep in the charts, and i cant say she doesn't have a good voice . She has an extraordinary work ethic and I don't believe for one minute that she dislikes Celine. She is a professional. I think it could be very special. They both have a special place in their hearts for Whitney. The amount of energy Mariah puts in the entire recording and production of her albums needs a huge applause. She's a true force to reckon with when it comes to what she wants in her record. I truly respect that about her. Also, it was just the media that started the whole frenzy of pitting them against each other. On the contrary, they seem to like each other because I remember there were articles when Celine sent her flowers/gifts for her birthday and then, Mariah sent Celine a beautiful note and flowers when Adhemar passed away. I personally love both artists, and both are unique.
