i don't see a reason not trying to. After all she has plenty of time while playing in Vegas.

I don't see that promised worldtour happening ..until 2016? please not...

I am happy to get both albums. But I don't see promotion ahead. If they would promote both albums

in a proper way they would really do something and bring out lots of singles from the albums.

Wasn't there a plan to release 2 english albums, one in 2012 and one in 2013?

Or did they really shove the covers-plan away?

It's about time they announce news on the official Celine Dion site. All we get is pieces

either from interviews in magazines or from the Red Heads or via someone on twitter..

they should announce big news on the official site!

It's her body and her decision but I really don't think she should try to have another baby

And it doesn't even have to do with the fact that it might disrupt her schedule as an artist/singer.

 

Enough is enough. I was with her 100 percent of the way when she was receiving all that criticism during the birth of the twins - regarding her age, Rene's age, how she should have just adopted, etc. But to try again would just be overkill. She has THREE, and Rene's about to turn 70! At some point it becomes quite irresponsible..money doesn't solve everything..

Not to mention the medical risk for Celine herself. Going through IVF treatments is a very rigorous process..and after all she's done...isn't she putting herself at risk, even possibly for cancer?

 

It's none of my business, but that's my two cents..

It would be cool if she appeared on the final night of xfactor to sing with one of the finalists and then plug the show and album/single. But if not she could do Alan Carr, Strictly , Paul O' Grady and Loose Women.

 

I think we will get more news around the middle of July :P

I hope for some of the tremendous kind of publicity. I'm fine with her not doing a ton of shows. But I want the red carpet to be laid out. She's payed tribute to so many and it's time for people to pay tribute to her.

She needs its it. She's been out of the spotlight for 5 years. I hope she'll do the X-Factor (American version)....that starts up in the fall and with Britney Spears on it now, the ratings are bound to go up!

 

I think smart publicity would look like this: (* must )

 

Simon Cowell's the X-Factor (American) with songs performed by her by contestants including one duet.*

Primetime interview with Katie Couric/or Bab Walters. (Week of release)

Oprah's next Chapter interview on OWN (Week after album launch)*

TODAY/or GMA (Performances + Interview) DAY OF album release*

Anderson Cooper--"Anderson" at some point in Decemeber--full hour*---[--------------------i]Skip Ellen this time--last interview was not good[/i]

 

Sit down with ladies of the VIEW (November or Decemebr)

American Music Awards performance in November----along with Special Acheivement Award presented to her---(Rene, get on this ;)*

I think it would be cool if she did another tv special. I would love that.

I have no longing for that since she lipped her TC special.

 

I rather have no TV special at all than a lipped one. I didn't become a fan of Céline coz I enjoy seeing her in different outfits. What enchanted me was her performing.

If they asked me how I would like her to promote the new albums, I wouldn't care at this point what TV show she did or how many, I would ask just one thing: please perform each and every song of the album at least ONCE. Just once each song. Something similar to what she did in the canadian TV special for D'elles, but up to complete all the songs included in the album. Less chit chat talk and more music. Is not that hard. At least that way we would see every song she records with a chance to see the stage, even though for one time -_-

 

I don't ask for more promotion at this point of her career, but I know this would be a dream come true.

I think the greatest promo is less interviews and more performances on tv shows! Because when she is interviewed she only taks about family, and honestly, it is not interesting for not-fan people

It's not that interesting for fans either.

 

If Céline had exposed her music more and her private life only to a small extent I think I would actually care about it. Now it's all been to much for too long.

well that is what we know about tvshows, they are never live. So as far as I am corcerned I rather have her doing a real special with a complete live setlist than watching her lipping a whole show. Because, what is the point for flying over all the way to europe to do that? Then you can also turn on the cd and let anyone lip it. It makes no sense. And yes, when she is interviewed it would be nice to hear her talking about the music and why that song and why that arrangement and what is her favorite song on the album, what story is behind which song, how was it to record a new album with fresh songs, how does that compare with her Vegas shows.. questions like that. But I am sure it will be babytalk again , and maybe about the grown up retriever ( don't know his name) and about making her own lasagna and giving away the recipe haha Ah well , we will see;-)

The only Celine CBS Special that was completely live was the ANDHC special. Every single song she sang was live, and if I remember correctly she did quite a few from that album and some were even cut out.

 

I think Aun Existe Amor and GTSW were playback, or at least they dubbed the album track for the TV broadcast.

Hi guys, I was just wondering that after more than 30 years in the showbiz, Céline should celebrate her career in a funny music video for her next single. Maybe it's better for the second or third single from her upcoming English album. What I imagine is her, joking on stage with her most recognizable looks from the past decades. That could be even her with dresses, haircuts/wigs and make-up, as well as her singing on stage with Céline-impersonator going around.

 

I know, it's stupid to already imagine a music video, when we know so little about her new album. But there's nothing wrong about dreaming? LOL

Me too "Peppercorn1991"!!! I love watching her record albums as well!!!! :yes: Maybe she'll have a special DVD that will be released showing some of those videos.

 

One was released with the Taking Chances CD. I had pre-ordered my CD from amazon.com, but there wasn't a DVD released with it. Then my daughter bought her Taking Chances CD at Walmart and it had the special DVD included with the CD. So, I'll keep my finges crossed that we will have the chance to get one with the new CD's. I like to see all of the background, and to see how Celine develops a song. I may add that she does a great job of that too!!! :yes:
