I guess you can say so. Still busy with my Phd though. Hope to get at least 3 articles out of it. So happy to hear there are still people that want to become math teachers as there is kind of a shortage. I tutor/teach sometimes for extra money.

 

How could I not quote you? I am an aircraft engineer, I got my master degree very recently, but I also love pure maths, especially analysis and topology. They rock! Best wishes for you Phd and your papers!

oh my god... i just watched it again but this time on tv it's really good in HD and it does bring me back to Vegas... !! starting when Celine arrive Vegas in Feb... and my heart was like geting excited and stuff... and then the premiere open arms......... holy shoot... it just felt like when i was there.. and i got a bit emotional!!!...

That is because your dvdplayer must be able to play MKV or MP4 hd avi.

For example my dvdrecorder cannot read MKV (Matroska files - HD) but my tv and blurayplayer both can.

So I can burn them immediately on a dvd without compression, just like a data dvd, but then it is not dvd format

with a slick menu etc.

 

Best solution is, when you really want to make a dvd, convert the files using convertxtodvd or using the free software SUPER and convert everything to a format NERO can read, so you can burn the files on dvd.

Or make a professional dvd by using convertxtodvd to save the files/folder to a destination on your harddisc instead of burning, and afterwards create a dvdmenu using dvdauthor. But that is quite a lot of work.

And one last tip: burn the files to a Dual Layer dvd because it can contain more than 8 gig instead of using a normal dvd which can only contain. 4,7 gig. Than the quality will be at is highest and the less compression is needed to fit the files on the dvd. Or, if you are one of the lucky ones that has a Bluray burner, burn the files to a bluray, then you won;t have any quality loss!

 

As you can see on my infoscreen I pasted in here, it is in Dutch, but you can see the resolution of these videofiles ( Celine 3 boys), the audiocodec etc.

Always look if the codecs are supported by your dvdplayer/blurayplayer/playing software. I recommend the free VLC Mediaplayer for watching any file on your computer.

Finally got a chance to watch the documentary, and I was pleasantly surprised. I expected it to be all about the twins, but contrary to how it was promoted, there were a lot of things about the new show in it.

 

As usual there were some great tidbits in it about things you would never have expected, like Céline choosing to include ''The Reason'' in the new show.

 

Céline was hilarious as always. I loved the Cher bit! For a moment I thought what the hell is she singing, then I relized she was imitating Cher. BRILLIANT! Nobody does it better... Loved the dancing with the doll thing too.

 

I have no idea where people got the idea that she acted like a diva and that she lives in a bubble. In my oppinion, Céline is a trooper for flying to Chicago with the twins. Where was she complaining? I thought Céline was furious at René or something the way some people acted. All she said was she doesn't like flying with the babies while they are still so small, which is very understandable.

 

Thanks to everybody that helped making it available for the rest of us. I know everybody already said that, but it made me fell in love with her again.

 

Now, if Céline can just send me the name of the pills she takes that gives her all that energy, I will be over the moon.

For those who want to merge/join the videofiles Celine 3Boys and a new Show, that you downloaded; use Ultra Video Joiner. It succeeded in making a big 5ig. file that can be converted in the software you use!

if they gonna release it in dvd / blu-ray i would love to see some other aspect of the show and stuff.. like how they cast / audition for the musicians and the orchestra rehearsals and the stage set up and the visual stuff!!!

The software created a big file - BUT - the quality is awful since it is merged. So I searched for other possibilities and found that the free SUPER converter, can also join. The merged file is way better, because there is no quality loss!

okay.. that did not work either... trying to found something else now.. the quality was still great but it did not merge all the parts

Weird thing is, using Ultra Video Joiner created a 5ig file than we to be opened has to be repaired by VLC mediaplayer, but even if you don't repair it you have a correct Quality file, with no compression, just like it should be. Ultra File Joiner IS the solution for merging!

yes but only if the format is in MPEG I thought..

Anyway, what I did now is , put every part of the show in Adobe Premiere, Remove all the commercials from Coming Up, and faded in out to the next part, and rendered everything to lossless AVI. The result is a flawness 13 gigabyte avi that I am gonna convert in convertxtodvd, and I have to make a chaptermenu etc. So not ready yet, but getting somewhere haha
