Yeah...

 

I was talking to a realtor friend of mine a while back. Somehow we got into talking about Céline because she knows I'm a huge fan. Apparently there is a home near in a very wealthy area near me that she thought would be perfect for Céline. Not too big, not too small and it had gold leaf trimming on the home. YEA elegant! We discussed it a bit roe just so I could see if I thought it were 'Céline' enough. LOL. It has a beautiful view of the ocean but a golf course you have to drive to, and no water access.......

 

From what she gathered from the homes Céline has had that I've known about, we figured she likes to buy older properties with a classic charm to them, and likes to renovate. Also we figure she likes water access, or something very close to it-- just a short walk--somewhere you don't have to drive... a near by golf course for her recreation, and lots of roaming space for other possible activities.

 

The property she bought, I read about a while ago, seems to be something perfect for her and René.

 

My personal opinion is that she has probably become accustomed to her 'smaller' home in Las Vegas. I don't think that this home will end up being as grand as her other home in Florida. Perhaps just as beautful but more "intimate". Seems to be what she's going with a lot lately. Intimacy, closeness and personal touches..........sentiment.

maybe they new home need 1-2 year to decorate. so it's not too early to buy it. 

 

Your probably right. If Celine is anything like me, it takes me a few hours to go through stores and find something I like, even catalogs. That's a few hours added onto Vegas, on to taking care of other things. 2 years sounds about right :laughing:

I'm pretty sure that a lot of her stuff backstage in Las Vegas is pottery barn. I was back there once, and I went to Pottery Barn a few weeks later and saw the chairs that were at the long table and I nearly passed out just from the adrenaline rush of seeing those chairs again. LOL.

 

If anyone's looking to get her a housewarming gift (lmao) I'd be almost certain you'd be safe with a PB item. LOL.

hi everyone, well i have just returned home from vegas, went to see celine and was on front row!! and second row!! i met celine in nov 2006 prior to the show, and she told me her new home was being built in jupiter florida as we speak!!

Well I think they are still going to keep that home in LV, so she'll still be in your backyard on some days! ^_^

that's old news . we know for some time now that celine is planning to move back to florida after vegas eventho she wont be home most of the time for the next 2 years or so with her world tour and everything :kicking:

The Picture is her current house in Vegas, and it is her NEW house in Florida, she sold her old one and build the new one as shew says the new home in florida is more child friendly.

I don't think she's abandoning her fellow Canadians. I think she just wants to live somewhere warmer. As you know most of her family still lives in Quebec and she has said her soul is still in Canada even though she does not spend as much time there. She still has a house in Quebec and visits her family. ^_^

Like she doesn't have that huge castle on that island.... :whistling: She's not abandoning anybody, she'll probably go back to her pre-Vegas ways, when she was staying in Quebec during the summer and in Florida during the winter. Yes Celine, avoid cold at all costs!!! :giggle: But since she'll be touring the world next year, she'll be all over the place. The World is her backyard!

Hopefully the summer in Canada and winter in Florida is the plan. I can understand what she's thinking I think the same way...

 

If you're Canadian, you know all of the four seasons:

Almost winter, winter, still winter, road repair. :giggle:

 

But that would mean she'll practically never see snow again. :mellow: Rene-Charles will never learn how to build snowmen... Wait... I think I've seen a picture of them on a snowmobile... lol... Anyhoo. Celine still comes back to Canada for Christmas. And it's good to know that Celine would never ever reclaim her roots. Never never ever. -_-
